Steam Trains Preview & Central Railroad Of Indiana 3 Track RR Crossing With Cass Scenic Railroad!

- Awesome railroad crossing with 3 tracks for 2 railroad companies including CSX and Central Railroad Of Indiana. Also, 4 steam train videos that are samples for steam locomotive videos that I am working on. The locomotives on this freight train are owned by Indiana & Ohio Railway but they are also used on CIND. Notice the Ohio Central Railroad locomotive also. I just got back from Cass Scenic Railroad in Cass, West Virginia. I rode and filmed Cass and The Durbin Rocket at Durbin West Virginia on the Durbin & Greenbrier Valley Railroad. Check out the awesome Shay locomotives at Cass and the Heisler at Durbin! I also included the steam train at Dearborn, Michigan and a surprise steam train to see if anyone can guess who it is. The freight train in this video was recorded on the west side of Cincinnati, Ohio along River Road and I included a Google Map to show what the crossing looks like. That crossing has 2 tracks for CSX that run from Louisville, Kentucky to Cincinnati and one track for CIND that runs from Greensburg, Indiana to Cincinnati. CIND uses 160.545. This area is great to railfan in the morning although it is very difficult to find a place to park. Filmed July 21, 2020.

Cass is so cool!!! 🚂🚃🚃🚃🚃🚃
I love the Central Ohio System livery the 2nd locomotive had.
That looks like fun riding in a caboose.
Hello from France Jaw Tooth! Nice vidéos!👍thanks a lot!
Thanks for coming
Thanks for the written description. The clickity clack of those wheels down by River Road had a nice rythm. It would make for some good white noise to fall asleep by.Thanks for the bonus footage also.
Thanks Steve!
Love to ride the train at Greenfield village and Henry Ford. The C&O train on display is great too.
missyd0g2 I love to ride it too. I’ve been on it many times.
My parents noticed me "missing" when I was 4 at the Henry Ford Museum. They knew right where to find me. The cab of that big Allegheny!
Geared locomotives are my favorite. We need more dog pictures
Shay’s are awesome
How wonderful! A passenger-hauling Heisler! Sort of like the Harley Davidson of steam locomotives with a big V-twin engine.
My family & I rode the Cass Scenic Railroad very many years ago up to Bald Knob. Great experience!
I love Greenfield village. I haven't been there since about 98,99
WOW!!!!! a GP50 looks like a former BN, and what appears to be a former MOPAC SD40-2....this is golden, here in the chicago suburbs we dont get to see locomotives like this anymore....
Love the combination of steam & diesel... those steam whistles are super cool !!
Smitty SF-3751
Great video of the I & O, a follow on to the D T & I, the Grand Trunk and the I & O,, Lots of Railroad History back there. Also the steam clips. nice, can almost smell the smoke. Did some time on the Santa Fe 3751 before it steamed, glad to see it is still running.
Thanks 👍
I like the colors on the engine it stand out good jack👽👽👍
Nice mix of new and steam.
I really like the way you video the whole train passing. A good indication of the amount of business on that territory.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Cool looking engine 5007 and great horns.Outstanding video I'am a huge steam fan.Good job JT
Cool, thanks!
Lovely steam locomotive footage
That train at around the 6:30 mark would never pass an emissions test, LOL!
Howdy ,thanks for sharing
Thanks for watching!
A plethora of LIVE ACTION!! From diesel to steam to diesel to steam.
Have a great weekend Tom!
2:20 Those covered hoppers look like they've seen a lot of (ab)use!
8:58 Looks like the Hesston Steam Museum in Hesston, Indiana
I belive your are right
Yes, that is Hesston! I didn't think anyone would guess it
I've been there a few times; it's only about a forty-minute drive for me. Heston (one "s") Supper Club, fka Heston Bar, is less than a mile east of there. Good food, but pricey; make reservations if you plan to go.
Cool looking engine 5007 and great horns.I'am a huge steam fan outstanding video JT keep them comlng
Glad you like them! I have a few steam train videos that I am working on
@@JawTooth Cool can't wait
A GP50. And that SD40-2 looks nice in a sort of chocolate livery.
As always, awesome live action. Jawtooth hope you and your family are doing well.
Thanks! You too!
I have actually watched a documentary type thing on the second steam train clip. I love that train!
Love the replicas of the steam locomotives at Promontory Point National Park
You are right Jaw, those were some awesome locomotives there. Loved every bit of it too. Thanks for sharing buddy.
Cool I&O Horn.
Just been reading my magazine , feature on Ohio Railroads , thanks to you its like reading about my neighbourhood even though i am thousands of miles away . Get some shades Son.
Right on!
JT, The whistle on that Cass train is the best! Regards Stephen.
I love that steam whistle. I used to ride Number 60 in Flemington New Jersey. That has a nice whistle. Great video.😃👍👍👍👍👍👍
Cool, thanks!
Cabooses? Caboosi? Hehehe!! I loves 'em!! 🚂❤
The best!
Great video again, will check out the Steam video next. Took the Strasbourg steam train once, got pelted and covered with soot from the stack, even in cars with roofs. I can't imagine how people dealt with it back in the day when that's all there was.
Love the Cass WV Shay Loco, but that smoke must be sickening.
You were at Greenfield Village! Very cool!
Yes it was!
Jaw Tooth I haven’t been there in years.
Yay, a Michigan train! 💪🏻🇺🇸 🚗
I know, right? I hope Jawtooth gets up here more often.
Shay whistles.....sweet music
Love an old steam engine, sweet!!!!
Me too!
All the steam train were sooo awesome.. Lets have more uploads of more trains in the U.S.A.
Number 7 at Greenfield Village is one of the greatest looking 4-4-0's running these todays
Really great video. We have had this a Jaw Tooth night. ❤️
Excellent Video Jaw Tooth
🌴🌴🇮🇳🌴🌴
Great video! Live Action Every Episode!
Man those Shay's have one pretty sounding whistle....
Great lashup...
Another fine job as usual, thanks
Thank you! Cheers!
I seen that this railroad has lines on cross arms that are parallel to the tracks. Here in Rocky Mount Va, the Nordolk Southern railroad used to have these poles and lines for years. In 2012 the railroad removed them
Best way to celebrate my 34th birthday today - watch some live action on the rails...
Happy Birthday Kevin!
Looking forward to stream locomotive train West coast Cincinnati Ohio awesome video two locomotives hauling everything grain cars tank cars also not short train bless you jaw tooth my brother
Thank you very much!
But wait there's more lol
Fantastic trains!
Many thanks!
Cool looking steam locomotives there Jawtooth!👍👍
Glad you like them!
The mystery train looks like hesston steam museum. I recognize the dual gauge track the train is running on.
Hey J.T should have worn sunglasses for that shot!
That's gotta be a first... First video in which you did not say "But wait there's more." I love the sound of an old steam engine and its whistle. You've got some pretty cool looking old buildings in that part of Cincinnati. Love your videos, Jaw tooth
Glad you enjoyed! Did I forget to say But wait theres more? First time ever. lol
Molto interessante rivivere tempi passati con delle macchine a vapore di quella fama
Thanks 2 units and 34 cars
Unusual -the ditch lights were static -just on ?? Ndiana and Ohio's gear is always smartly turned out .That's a good no-mans land you found to film in Jawtooth-no need to zoom the live action- its there at the camera lens end !! Youd think the forest was on fire -And that's a proper old time whistle ! Nice video sonn !!
Regards
Not all locomotives have flashing ditch lights when they hit the horn approaching an intersection. Just sayin’!!
Loved the old steam locomotives I know my dad would have loved them to keep up the great work
Thanks 👍
👍 great live catches 👌
Thanks 👍
Ah the last steam train till the virus. What a hit before we all go home. A old old loco!
2 of those were filmed last week during the virus
Jaw Tooth that’s nice to know.
Just got done viewing the C&O video
Was hoping that you saw my latest post on my close up of train footage

Thank you 👍
Siempre interesante. Gracias
great video liked 🚄🚄👍
Thank you! Cheers!
The last train looks cute, even though I don't know where it is.
Keep the good work coming.
Will do!
Nice vidya. Sure was a pretty day in Cincy. I wonder if that CIN train serves the Honda plant in Greensburg?
CIND has a daily train that works that plant. I have filmed it a few times and it can get very long
Nice Train Catch Jaw Tooth.
Thanks!
You got this video out fast, Brian! Hot off the press!
You know it!
Great video jawtooth good footage from wv
Thanks 👍
Interesting tour in the States, and these folkloric steam trains... What if some cowboys come suddenly of nowhere and make a train robbery ?! Nice video, as usual.
i Like the buildings there are they all brick
I like all the old brick buildings there also
J T scores again ... Good vid ...
I've always wanted to see them run the Detroit and Lima Northern Railway locomotive at Greenfield Village. However they never ran it when I was there. Also I have to imagine the Durbin Rocket is towing their "Castaway cabooses"?
Awesome action jaw tooth love to see GP50s wish I would see them more instead of 38-2s but also cool to see steam action, keep up the great work your almost at 100k
Thank you very much!
ang laki at ang haba ng train
Have 3 trains ever crossed at that 3 track crossing all at the same time before? That would be cool to see.
I dont think so. CSX only runs a few trains a day there
Very nice video my friend!
Thanks for the visit
Excellent video!!!
Thank you very much!
@@JawTooth Your welcome!!
Great video. I think it’s Heston Steam museum in Indiana? Thanks for sharing.
Great Train video I'm glad you got a good catch of it however at 6:23 did you see that train blowing all that smoke wow let's just hope people don't mistake it for something else anyways I give this video a thumbs up
**laughs in ALCO diesel**
Awsome video 👍👍
Thank you 👍
Great video
Greetings
Thank you very much!
At 7:00 I heard every environmentalist out there gasp.....
Actually the Cind and i&o ry are both owned by genesee and Wyoming that is why you see the Indiana and Ohio railway running on central railroad of indiana also Ohio central is owned by g&w the steam engines that were owned by the Ohio central are now in a museum
I filmed that exact train!! i filmed him switching further down the line and close to where the CSX mergers close to the I&O, pretty cool!
Did you see the CSX caboose that they shoved across the road to the customer who uses the tank cars? It was near the overpass
Dig the new intro music!
I think it's just a good time
This vid was over all to soon.
Thumbs up,make that double.
Hey, you're wearing a hat! Nice!
Oh yeah!
Mp 5.2 at valvoline just east of the Texaco crossover
Yes CABEESE!!

At 8:57, you filed that at the Hesston steam museum in Michigan
the cap looks better from collor then mine cap,Brian, but i use him everyday,en storm on the beach noorthsee salt water.
I keep them out of the sun when I am not wearing them and I keep them away from the ocean. The colour is holding up pretty well
@@JawTooth Ha Brian,oké,the collor is super,but.... you need raely a new camera, why you dont try the Hero 7 cam 4K? i can film to with mine cel phone, but it is a phone, wel i hope you gonna try some options.evereybody nows you on this planet,so you need superiur camwork..i have it.lol..take it easy and stay save about that corona shitt.i do it and Tony to..stay save with yor familie.greetz:Peer.
And people wonder why we have greenhouse affect. WoW.
Excellent. Two railway companies operating on lines adjacent. Look forward to the steam videos when they are completed and up on RUclips. As I am writing this from the UK, I can answer that the last steam train mystery is probably filmed in the USA. Thank you Jaw Tooth - what is the prize for that correct answer? :)
I don't know but I have a big box of HO scale trains that I don't want. I was going to make a video of model train destruction but the last time I did that I got a lot of heat. lol
@@JawTooth Yes, I remember that. It was the only one of your videos that I gave a thumbs down to. In the UK there are specialist model railway shops that would take second hand trains for resale. HO is the same size track as the UK 00. However the 00 trains are slightly larger in scale than HO. Both will however run on the same tracks. Are there no equivalent shops in the USA?
