Lovely sound
Nice ride mate
Good job 👍🏻
I test drove 2 abarths about 10 years ago.
The early versions, one standard the other esseesse. Latter had the quad pipes record monza exhaust but it was significantly louder back then! Father had a maserati granturismo 4.7 V8 at the time and it's fair to say, it was almost a baby version in note at times.
Didn't buy one though due to the steering being lifeless.
It had plenty of grip but no feedback.
I do like them still but feel they haven't moved on much since they were first released.
In my late teens a friend had the fiat strada abarth 130tc.
Twin webers, sounded like a baby ferrari but would rust in the time it took to make a cup of tea 😉
Given where the rules and regulations are at the moment, I was really impressed with the sound it made. It really rolls through the cabin nicely. Funny you should mention the steering, I'll be posting the full review and that does get a mention! It doesn't sound like much has changed at all...
@@MilesAheadMotoring 😄🤣😂
@@MilesAheadMotoring YES it is still possible to generate a decent exhaust sound in these silent times!
But most manufacturers can't be arsed lol.....
Abarth and hyundai N, being a few exceptions lol...
BUT, the new cars have still become quieter. New N isn't as fruity as my 2017 i30N performance pack was!
My GR Yaris has nothing, as you know, but I'm happy with the internal, part fake, noises.
Had 3 years of the N mate and plenty of pedestrian glares to last a lifetime 🤣😂😂
that colour is perfect! what are they like as daily commuters? thanks
Do you think this car equipped with Record Monza is the loudest 4 cylinder stock? Thank you.
Is not "Abarth mode" is the "Skorpion mode"!!!
is this an exhaust with valves or something? What is the abarth mode? I got fined for my stock 2012 abarth 500 being too loud... and I can't pass car inspection because the limit is 87db here in lithuania. Any recommendations?
How do you turn the Arbarth mode on ? My 2019 595 isn’t making any loud sound it doesn’t even sound sport
is there any difference in the competizione sound between 2016 and newer +2017 models
The turbo on the older ones is an IHI, a Garett on the newer ones. The Garett sounds way better with that whistling and is more responsive
Does the turismo 595 change the exhaust sound when you press sport like if you rev it in normal then press sport would it change sound slightly thanks
No it doesnt Change
@@rubenoliveira3127 oh I thought they change when you start up in sport
@@jonpeach5851 not the turismo
turismo have a standart exhaust not the monza exhaust
@@rubenoliveira3127 ok so the Monza exhaust does that change with the sport button
I think the standard T-Jet / Turismo exhausts sound better, clearer, seem to growl more even in non sport mode. This seems strangely muffled in comparison.
