What I love about the 595 is that 210 kmh feel like 300 kmh in any other car because it is so direct and shaky. Always an adventure :)

I love this car
nice car, cool vid, i own the turismo with 165hp, i also made a test drive on the autobahn. i have to admit it was a little bit down hill, but in the end i was able to top out at ~6000 rpm and 240 km/h (231km/h gps). i was really impressed by that. brakes are also very nice! :)
That's right. My 165 runs without any problems 235 and everything is original.

Hatte den Topi als Dienstwagen mit 100PS. Und das war schon der Hammer, 200 ist der auch knackig gerannt und hat so manchen Limousinenfahrer geärgert. Das Hauptproblem auf Autobahn, mit der Knutschkugel nimmt Dich keiner ernst......
Und jetzt dieses Mini Flagggeschütz, alter Falter.....😁👍👍👍
Isso! Da kannst andauernd die Lichthupe betätigen ,wenn der gemeine Audi oder Sternfahrer dauerlinks bleibt, weil er nur nen 500 im Rückspiegel hat.. nervig. Wobei das Unterschätzen auch Bock macht, wenn dann unnötig aufs Gas gegangen wird, weil man die Leistung ned abschätzen kann ..Der Blick, wenn man die zersägt ist Gold wert ^^

+Lateco Braxatoris Partnerka momentálne plánuje kúpu 595 Competizione... sem tam cez víkend jej ho určiťe budem kradnúť 😁V nových autách sa deju veľké veci vo veľkých rýchlostiach, v abarthe stačí veľmi malo na veľmi veľa radosti... niečo ako novodobý golf gti mk1.. ľahučké maličké autíčko stvorené na zábavu.

Das Auto ist ein richtig geiles Spielzeug Geschoss, und macht irre viel Spaß, aber die Autobahn ist nicht das richtige Jagtrevier für ihn!Dort gibt es sehr viele Autos die schneller sind und auch besser beschleunigen.Auf engen Landstraßen oder gar Bergpässen kann man mit ihm aber deutlich leistungsfähigeren Autos zeigen wo der Hammer hängt! :-)Daumen hoch!!!

I have a 500 Abarth, the dealer said it tops out at 130mph, I haven't tried it, but that seems close after seeing this.
Idk if you've tried it by now..but I only have a few mods done to mine and I top out at 142mph
@@mattsanderson3461 Car is gone, it was fun but the dealerships around me all suck, getting anything done was a hassle. Sold it for 1/2 what I paid just to get rid of it, don't miss it at all.

Quantos die sind meiner Meinung nach nicht wirklich hoch. Wie es bei dem Cabrio ist kann ich leider nicht sagen
finde auch die halten sich in grenzen für so ein kleines auto! bis 170 km/h nicht wirklich schlimm, danach nimmt es natürlich zu...

Why is the speedo so off?
It's not so bad. All car speedos show about 5-10% less than the actual speed. They're designed like that to prevent speeding
it's legal for a car to display up to 10% above or below the actual speed (at least in Europe). Look it up. Most cars display about 5% more than actual speed.
It depens on many factors.
Whel size
Tire pressure
Tire compound
Thread thikness
Paul Hojda In Germany it isn't allowed that the the speedo shows less then the real speed is. It just can show an higher speed.

Acceleration with the 5 speed box is better (0 - 100). There is a 6 speed box available for the normal 500 Fiat.
Auto had 6 spd
6 speed gearbox is only for twinair 105hp and 1.4 fire 100hp

The US models are also speed limited at 126mph. Pretty lame. Even worse, the convertible is limited to 87mph if the the top isn’t completely closed and locked.

Bludclone maybe if you jerked the wheel 45 degrees but I am sure most cars would have that issue going that fast.
Don’t knock it if you haven’t tried it Abarth has been around a long time and the 500 holds a very high standards to compact track cars.

DjoxiN95 It's all about the v-max? You could be right, couse the 595 is not so penetrating through the air: the mito with the same engine is actually faster.
But: Your first instance was that the up! Gti is more economical, reliable and same performance. My opinion is that the vw has less performances (in general), less reliable and agreeding with you, less priced.

Auf der Autobahn gilt das Rechtsfahrgebot. Und die Überholabsicht durch die Betätigung der Lichthupe anzuzeigen ist durchaus durch die StVo legitimiert. Also alles in Ordnung so.

@BassVentura in the UK, these are cheap to insure in relation to how much fun they are. I also doubt the 2.0tdi wagon would keep up on a track if you're trying to compare speed.
@BassVentura yeah that makes sense, it's definitely a bit overkill. I've been toying with the idea though, one thing I do think would get tiresome is the exhaust note

Tatsächlich ist der 1,4er T-Jet entwickelt worden für die (anfangs) italienische Formel 4..Die fahren alle den Motor mit 160PS. Das erklärt auch den abartigen Sound, als wäre Serie nen 200Zellen drinne ;)
