In response, we dedicated this song to him as a goodbye at our final concert of the year and as a decision to rejoice over the fact that he's in a better place now. Sometimes I wonder why some music is more famous and loved and some just isn't really heard-of of known-of. I think songs with a distinct melody and a distinct but faint background melody are easier to remember and are much more satisfying. Jupiter has a pattern that's almost always followed and this provides a sense of fulfillment. Anybody agree? ;) and on the other side of the spectrum, I played this is 7th grade orchestra and that was a very hard year for me (although we can agree middle school is hard for everyone...) but whenever I listen to this song, it makes me believe that everything is going to be okay. Anyone else have a song that will never get old - an emotional attachment to a song?

ah, the last piece I played in orchestra before I quit violin after COVID hit the next year. Though the violin wasn't for me, I still look back on playing this fondly. It feels like the perfect end credits song to my time as a musician
