I'm in a 7th 8th grade orchestra and this song is very good for our practices! It isn't good enough for our performances but we used it to practice allllll last year! I highly recommend it!

I'm in 7th grade and I play the violin 1 part in this. All I have to say is ever since my orchestra got this piece, we fell in love with it. Every Friday we do requests and this is probably one of the most requested pieces. We're planning on playing this at a contest as well as Finale and A Soldiers Hymn. Can't wait for everyone to hear this piece because it's beautiful

Yeah I was seeing if I was the only one who noticed that too, some parts in the piece sound like a mix of beyond the thunder and deep sea fandango combined which is kinda ironic since all 3 pieces are made by the same composer

Im was a 1st violin for the varsity orchestra in my junior high, and i had a free period, so i got 2 orchestra classes, and got to play cello too for the non varsity group, and we played this, and i had just joined in the middle of the year, and i thought i was cooked, but i managed to learn bass clef after being used to treble, and managed to make it from last chair, to first, and that has been on of my biggest accomplishments, and im thankful for my directors who let me do all of that.

As a viola bro this song was the best, just like measure 32 I think where we get like two or three measures of melody. My orchestra sucks at including the violas, like okay we are normally a background sound but like they’ve done songs where cello gets the melody the whole time and then bass and obviously violins but no viola songs lol😢
