This song is one of the main reason I started playing the ukulele and today is the first time I played (the simplified version) pretty decently. Now it’s time to focus on the difficult chord change between c-b-a#. Already happy with this achievement though!
Brilliantly clear tutorial, and I agree the B7 sounds better and is easier to play. On 23 August my daughter gave birth to my first grandchild and has named him Otis! So at this week's rehearsal of the Lincoln Ukulele Band I'm going to teach them this version of 'Sittin' On The Dock Of The Bay'. Many thanks.

another great ukulele tutorial, but do i need to get repetitive strain injury to get as good as you ? or did you fall off you're bike, riding it with no hands on the handle bars again?

Is it just me, or is the A string slightly off? (low) A bit painful to listen to, but an excellent tutorial!

You never explained the strum pattern on A in the verse. This is one of my first songs and can't figure out what pattern your using can you please comment it with Us and Ds?
Okay, so on A I am doing something like U UDU UDU
And the whole verse is something like:
G B C B A# A
D DU UDU D DU UDU D DU DUD U UDU UDU

Избрал си си място за песен :) А и с това набито око дет имам, се чудя колко ли го отнася китката ти, че си и сложил "калъфче" да слуша .. ии да, на фестивала е друга магия, Беглика винаги носи омая, но онази по-дивата светлина е несравнима :) Когато е пълноводие, пълнолуние, с росни зелени поляни пълни с диви орхидеи и какви ли не цветя. Ако имаш наум някоя "цветна" песен, това е мястото :)) А Юни месец все още няма масово лагеруващи и при безветрие мелодията ти може да се чуе на отсрещния бряг и дори зад него :) Аа да, и гледам отворил си дюкяна :)))
