    The hammer ons add another dimension to the song, something I'll practice now. Cheers Terry!

    Thanks Terry, this is the type of tutorial I love. we learn the strum, the parts, the singing. The Patreon link is a great idea. I think Dock of the Bay was the first song I learnt on Guitar......1967.....Gulp....but now you have taught me how to play and sing it properly. Many thanks.

    Omg! That was quiet humbling! 😅😆😂😉 some of the changes happen at light speed for me! 😅😅😅 I'll work on the singing and smoother chord changes . What I am proud of is the JOYROY walk up from the C to the A using the A and E strings . 2 string magic so I just Barre A and E walk it fret 3 fret 2 fret 1 then to the A chord! It works with this muted strum! Blame Chuck Berry for giving me this idea! 😅😆 great tutorial that I'll save and revisit! I did it on the guitarlele because I'm more comfortable playing it since I just received my uke on Monday of this week and today is Friday! But I did write 2 songs on it and working on a third for the lady which I title Diana 😍😙 ok buff said! Thanks G Man!

      Thank you my G Man. It takes a little work but definitely possible. If I can do it, you can as well.

    Hey, i know this comment is not about the video, but i have a question for you. Could you recommend a tenor low G ukulele with price under 200$ ( I live in Poland so 200$ is a lot of money). I can't realy find anything good in the internet and i don't have any music shops around. I would realy appreciate if you could help me. ;D

    More great material, Terry. Where do you find all the time to so this great content? Can't recommend Uke Like The Pros content enough ... great for serious ukulele and guitarlele students. I hope anyone who is interested but wants to "try a little Terry" will give your new Patreon platform a shot. My guess is, many will want to join us on Uke Like The Pros once they've checked out your Patreon channel. 😎

    Hi I play a baritone ukulele can I use this tutorial for the baritone, chord shapes are different but are the chord names the same? I don’t know if I should watch a guitar tutorial or a ukulele one. Not a lot of baritone tutorials.

    • @Ukelikethepros
      @Ukelikethepros  5 лет назад +1

      Great point. You can take what I show you, all the chord shapes are the same but yes it will be in a different key. Guitar videos are cool but I think the extra strings a guitar could be confusing. Good news is I have baritone content coming within the next week or two

    This was a very good tutorial but you need to listen to the singing not because your singing is bad but because you aren’t singing it at the right times

    • @Ukelikethepros
      @Ukelikethepros  5 лет назад

      Thanks for the comment, I have been playing this song for a long time and usually when that happens you tend to "make it your own." All the parts are here in this video and if you want to sing it exactly like the Otis Redding recorded version it should be an easy transition.

      I’ve played ukulele for just 4 months. My friends keep telling me I sing the lyrics at the right time. It takes the joy out of it for me.
