    Ordered my 5100 from you guys had my mechanic installed them on front and rears along with tier 4 core 4x4 kit . Now my Ram 1500 rides so much better, especially when towing my 20 ft trailer .

    Watching your video , it's helpful because I'm looking for some good medium off-road shocks pulling my 27 ft travel behind my 2014 Z71. I'm having the same problem going through dips it's bouncy and what not but I have the stock original shocks..

    For towing/hauling are the 5160s a big improvement over 5100 or is it better to just stick with the 5100 if not doing any off roading?

    I have a stock 2020 Jeep Wrangler Sahara. 8 will be towing a 3,000 lbs trailer. V6 3.6l Hensley WDH. Would the Billstein 5100 with Timberens be a good combination.

      Those two setup would help. We don't Timbren but we have used SuperLift bump stops and upgrading it has helped a lot for towing.

    I put the 5100 on my 2019 Silverado, all I can say is wow. I was at the point that I hated driving my truck. It firmed everything up and it feels like a truck now. My Rancho garbage shocks were blown with 40,000 miles on. GM what were you thinking.

    • @ShockSurplus
      @ShockSurplus  Год назад

      If you're comparing it to the stock Rancho, then yeah 100% better.

    On the Silverado what height setting did you put the fronts at? Also do you have air bags or anything in rear? Worried about squat when trailering…

    • @ShockSurplus
      @ShockSurplus  Год назад

      We maxed it at the highest setting. We did not do an air bag but we did a bump stop from Sumo Springs.

    4:45...could it be time for an anti-sway hitch for on-the-road towing?

      It definitely would help but this little Ranger is already doing a lot better than it should with the suspension upgrades.

    Did the 5100s on the ranger decrease the trucks payload? If so, by how much? Thanks great information.

    • @ShockSurplus
      @ShockSurplus  Год назад

      It did not lose any payload support at all. If anything, it allowed him to have a slightly higher payload.
