Van Life | Tiny The Sims 4 Stop Motion Speed Build

- A tiny van home for a single sim. This is a one pack build. It has items only from Discover University expansion pack and The Sims 4 Base Game (no CC/mods). Built on Honeydew Fields lot in Britechester, but could be parked on any 20x15 lot. This time there's also a small surprise - a short Simlish vlog at 01:31. "How To" starts at 03:34.
The house could easily be turned into a micro home, since it has less than 32 tiles.

I tried to make it as close to real life vans as possible. And some are really cramped. 😄
My sim always lived in a 3x3 space I just need a , recliner, tv, toliet, shower and fridge and I'm done sometimes I put a small table and chairs outside with a jacuzzi and I drive a dune buggy or truck or motorcycle , they have small trailers in real life that can be pull by a motorcycle it they have room for 2 people, toliet, shower, mini fridge etc lol
There's a place over in Houston that has a parking lot and he lets people living in big vans live there and just charge $100 a month lol
Imaging living there in 2020 and having to quarantine in that small of a house
All she need to do is going in an isolated area, like a field and then she can stay out as much as she like. THX BTW for putting Coronavirus in yet another comment session of a video THAT HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH CORONAVIRUS!!!!! No maddening at all!
There's like millions of student like that right now... I live in France is my 9m2 room and it's just hell, if I open my window peolle in the street can look at me, I just sit here and do nothing with my stupid connection who take 10 min to download a 3 min video. I really want to die right now, my exam are all on the internet and teacher don't even bother to upload the lessons. I lost my job, I 'll fail my year, and I have a rat cage rent to pay, and no Internet😂😂

I like how there is no translation so all you hear is Simlish and it makes you feel like the sims are a real thing like German, Chinese or Spanish (etc.) it’s a nice little touch.

How do you even make it usable? Whenever I try to build something so small and squeeze all the furniture together, my Sims complain that there's something in their way or the interaction is disrupted.
I was constantly testing with a sim when placing the furniture. The trick is to place objects slightly off the grid (by holding Alt key). I placed the counters and the bed slightly into the walls, otherwise there wouldn't have been enough space for a sim to move around.

And also very usefull command bb.moveobjects so you can place them anywhere
I can live in a 3x3 space, a recliner, tv, toliet, shower and fridge and that's it I do it all the time cuz I get tired having a big house too much too deal with , in the Sims bustin out for GBA version guiseppi mezzoalto lived in a van wished I could got it after sending him to jail lol

This is really impressive! The use of the car and the trailer is so clever! I recently wanted to build an RV and I just couldn't find a way to make the front part! Didn't think of just shoving a car in there 😅 I ended up building a camper instead. And I can't believe that this is all functional!! Really amazing! ❤️
Thank you so much!!! 😊 It's definitely tight back there, and the car takes up valuable space too. I tried to make it a tile wider, but then it just didn't look right compared to the width of the car. But I think that for one sim it's quite comfortable in there.
@@SimDay Yeah it seems to work! :D Too make it wider maybe building on the diagonal would be an option? I feel you can get in between widths that way :D I'm definitly gonna give my RV dreams another shot :)

I think it would make a nice starting point for a legacy! The lot is a bit more expensive than starter homes usually are, but with some adjustments it could be made cheaper if necessary. 😊

This is not my sim self, just a random sim who I tweaked a bit. I created the vlog to show that the objects are usable in such a small space, but I also tried to make it realistic and fun. 😊

Such a lovely build how did you place things on the trailer? When I try it goes through and not in top or it deletes it.

Hi! I do not use mods for building. To build on other lots than the one you are playing on, click on "Manage Worlds" button (it's on the upper right corner right next to the "Build Mode" button). There you can click on any of the lots, and when you've clicked on a lot, a "Build" button appears on the bottom right corner. Here's a tutorial that shows you where these buttons are: ruclips.net/video/OWYTrTgfbmc/видео.html (there's loads of other useful info too if you are new to the game). In manage worlds, you can also select other worlds on the upper left corner. For landscaping just search for "sims 4 how to landscape" on the RUclips, there are so many good tutorial videos. I hope my answer helps!

The object with wheels is a Debug item. First enter the cheat: bb.showhiddenobjects After that enter the cheat: bb.showliveeditobjects Then filter objects by Base Game, and type Debug into the search box, and scroll down. The wheels are near sailboats.

How do you get the house to be ever the slightly off the ground?
I first built a room, and another room on top of that. After that, I deleted the room below. Then it was possible to move the floating room down to the desired height above the ground. You can also see how in my House in The Painting video: ruclips.net/video/eB4BTuYTvHc/видео.html

How can i bring items up like u did by the table?
First make sure you have entered the cheat: bb.moveobjects on. Then an object can be moved upwards by pressing 9 (if it throws you to the corner of the lot instead, try the combination of Alt and 9). Press 0 to move an object downwards.
This is such an amazing build. I have a question though how did get wheels on the van is that an object in the game?
Thank you! I'm happy that you like it! 😊 The car and the wheels (at 0:23 in the video) are both debug objects (in Base Game). For them to show up, first enter the cheat: bb.showhiddenobjects, and then the cheat: bb.showliveeditobjects. After that, search for Debug to see all the debug objects.

@@dazdu88 I built a room on the ground floor and another one on top of it. Then I deleted the bottom room, and moved the top one down, just above the wheels. Oh, it would be really cool if there were driveable and buildable vans, something similar to houseboats we had in The Sims 3, but on roads! 🤔
But you could also move this lot from one world to another during your gameplay (maybe change the outdoor area a bit) and pretend that your sim has travelled around and driven to a new location. 😊

This is a debug item. First enter the cheat: bb.showhiddenobjects, and then enter the cheat: bb.showliveeditobjects. Type into search box: Debug. Then you'll see all the debug items. This object is right before sailboats (you have to scroll down quite a bit to find it).

There is no custom content or mods in this build. I used objects from The Sims 4 Base Game and Discover University only (some objects are from the hidden debug section, which can be unlocked with cheats).
