😂 Why were they so shy?! 😂😂😂I loved this! Wish I could have been there!!! Y’all had so much fun!!!❤ Thank you for sharing it with us! Gd bless all our shluchim!!
😉😄 I just finished (re) reading, _"Elephants Can Remember"_ by Agatha Christie. One of the clues was that a deceased lady had four wigs (in the 1950's), and that was thought an unusually high number. The supplier of wigs explained that most of her clients would have two wigs- one that they wear most of the time; and one they would wear when they sent the first one in to have it redressed. 😉😃 The mystery would not have been solved with your ladies in attendance. 😂
I love that question. It shows how quality is crucial. It won’t get worn; who wants dry frizz on their head? There were some gorgeous sheitels there. I need lift at the front because I’m older, and they drag my features down.
These wigs are so expensive. Can be 5000 each. All natural hair and designed to look so natural like your real hair so nobody can tell you are wearing a wig. But you know and you are doing the mitzvah of covering your real hair because Jewish law prohibits a woman from going around with her real hair. It must be covered with a scarf or snood or wig Issue of modesty and only her husband can see her real hair. It’s privacy between the two
I remember once a very secular jew said to my mother that married Jewish women wear wigs and she nearly fell through the floor in shock metaphorically. I think she genuinely didn't know about the practice, and sometimes, the wigs do look extremely natural. I'll admit I knew they did. I just wasn't saying anything
@@jameschicken1008 you aren’t required to wear a wig. Just a head covering that covers all your hair like a head scarf or snood or hat. But women like wigs because they feel prettier and younger looking
@lindaversil1121 More than that probably. Miriam on TikTok went to get a new one and it was chin length and $7000! A lot of these are way longer than that. I would not be surprised if these top $10k but they are exceptionally high quality and are meant to stand up to everyday use for years.
I think in this case, it's different. This is a family that wants to open discussion and make Judaism and Orthodox lifestyle less mysterious. We really have more in common with other people than not. We are all human beings.
The thing I love about this channel is the normality it brings to our sharing of difference. I think it is wonderful that a community cares and looks out for each other so much, nobody is ever lonely makes me want to be Jewish 😁

Modesty maybe or weren't expecting question
Lol they’re not being shy…I think they’re embarrassed to mention the amount of wigs because each wig costs multiple thousands of dollars!

Okay there's no way on Earth I could have tell walking on the street that any of these women are wearing a Shaital 😱😱😱 love the modesty 👍👍👍👍👍
Wow...what a blessing.
My goodness. Some of those ladies I never would have guessed were even wearing wigs.

When you live in NYC you can tell! Mostly of these looked better
❤ You interviewed @Dini Hefer, she grew up here in Frankfurt where I live! 😊
Amazing that the women have so many wigs 😂
I have three
lol they are so funny ❤❤❤
This is very unique 🙂
Is that a Jewish thing??? These ladies are gorgeous. 💖
Yes.
And ALL wearing wigs!!
Yes. Once they get married
Is everyone judging the women who own 5 wigs ? Is that a big topic of discussion within Orthodox Judaism ?
Un besito.
Please forgive ignorance, but as a male, is it rude to ask religious Jewish women directly about judaism and their side of lifestyle
Not at all.

It's only rude if you are acting rude! Genuine curiosity will usually not come across as rude
Jewish women are the best!
Why you need wigs if you have your own hair, unless you are bald.
Religious reasons.
For modesty reasons.
For what do you need wigs??
Married Jewish ladies need to cover there hair so they where wigs but it’s good as long as anything is covering
So, all these women are bald?
most likely not
