Finally! I absolutely loved making this video - if you want more similar ones, same format, the same idea but with a different theme - Give this video a THUMBS UP and SHARE! It's the only way I'll know if you guys want more or not x Are you on birth control? What kind of side effects did you get when you went on or off? Let me know!
Macerly you have to go off the pill for 3 months at least to see a difference, almost with any hormone contraceptive it’s more or less 3 months to stabilise your hormones 😊
I went off my first pill after two years. The first two cycles where as regular as they have been before. Then the third one hit me really hard. I was sitting in school and suddenly got the most painful cramps ever, I almost passed out several times while trying to walk outside class and then was in constant pain for maybe 20 minutes. As I told my mom, she always had the same pain then I do, she compared this extreme pain to having contractions. This really shocked me. After my experience I visited my doctor and the first question as I described what happened, was is there a chance that you could have been pregnant? Which means the pain that I felt could have been a miscarriage on the pain level. Three years later I´m on another pill, still feeling terrible pain in the first two days.
Girl I'm so glad I came across your video. My mood and bloating has been insane. Also kind of sleepless. I sometimes get spurts of energy and then some days I get really lazy and don't even wanna cook food. I've been off the pill for almost a month and my hair is finally growing back. Thank you for taking us through your journey 🙏💛
Knowing yourself...in the most intimate way...is the most important thing in the world. I could never stay on the pill long enough because I couldn’t feel me! I always felt that it hid sho I really was and it took my intuition. Thanks for sharing.
This was SUPER helpful! I am on day 18 of birth control free and I am having the worst pains in my abdomen and bloating. It looks like you did as well around this time. Thanks for making this video girl!
This reminds me when I go off my thyroid medication for a long time. My body absolutely loses it and I do not feel stable emotionally or mentally. My thyroid meds helps manage my thyroid hormones just like how birth control manages hormones.
Birth control pill is the best thing that happen to me. I have horrible menstruationpain for 10 days a month. It feelt like a rock was coming out the urethra and sometimes i could not pee for 24 houers and i always throw up a lot. The week before the period i was so depressed and had a lot of anxiety. Since i started with birth control pill i have quit with all my psychiatric medication like anxietypills and i dont have to eat painkiller for 10 days a month. Really bad menstruationpain can be the disease endometriosis like it was for me. So then its not god to quit the pills because it can destroys the bladder if you have a lot endometriosis in the bladder and so on. Im so thankful for this pills. I just wish i got them earlier, like when i was 12 so i dont miss so much of school. I dont think you should underestimated the effect hormones have to the body and brain. I feel so much better on the pills.
Hi! I’m currently getting off my birth control and let me say, this was SO helpful 🥺!! Ive been so fearful of all the changes happening to my body. Did you feel nausea during the first months at all?!
Thanks for sharing your experience with being off the pill. Enjoy the viewpoints you bring on the subject. Looking forward to catching up on your videos during this wonderful time in our world's history... 😊
This is really good content. I love when u experiment and we get to see ur experience, it helps us make choices and it is also always fun to watch Macerly💗💗💗🤩
I think the changes that happen to you on birth control happen so gradually that we dont notice them or we contribute the side effects to other things. Example, i gained 15 lbs over 2 years with IMPROVEMENTS made to my diet and exercise routine and my doc blamed it on aging and stress. Or my anxiety intensifies and I blame it on lifestyle changes. Stuff like that.
Haha food cravings is true but i workout 4x a day to beat cravings and healthy food.. After taking BirthControl you need to visit your OB. I stop taking BC because i was thinking about my body. When it comes to sex ugh i dont have sex drive after birthcontrol and now 5yrs of celibacy and happy ❤
After the birth of my second child I got an IUD. The insertion was painful for a bit but the plus side is I don't have to take a BC pill daily and won't have to worry about taking antibiotics and am worry free for 5 years.
Hearing about sideeffects from the pill is always so interesting! Only thing, it whould be interesting to see how it effects you long term since video was only the first month of you getting off and your body needs some time to adjust.
Hi, your videos are amazing, could you mention an update on your next video or make a new one relating this topic. So for example, if the fatigue, emotional symptoms and cravings have continued or have you gone back to the pill. Thanks xx
Well, hormonal adjustment of that kind can cause some crazy symptoms! ...and so can what you eat! That may have played a factor! Also, women could control when they had babies before the pill existed.
I went on a 1200kcal diet, plus -300kcal workout every 2nd day since last October, and my period actually stopped shortly after and only returned in March this year when I started eating more again. Not sure what I've done to my body, but surely nothing good.
@@millyavocado I know. But people are very shit. They treat you like the lowest species when you're overweight. I rather not have my period/kids than EVER having to come across such a treatment that totally messes up my self-esteem and mental health for months and years. Ever since I'm only 55kgs, guys are hitting haaaaard on me, and I know exactly that they would be "disgusted" by seeing my 2015-me. So I pay them back by publicly rejecting them and going to the corner where the "less cool kids" are hanging around and chat with them. I also usually end up having met super fun and intelligent people that way, and they start to smile and brighten up so much upon realizing I am not a "bitch". I was in their situation once, so I can understand them more than they can imagine!! I even helped 2 of such flower-wall guys find a girlfriend after a few months😂😆👌🏻
So I started a bit before quarantine and maybe quarantine made me gain a bit of weight or maybe it was birth control I have no idea but my face is bigger abs so is my stomach and I hate it I’m 13 btw .? It helps with my cramps a lot tho
You're 13, give it like 5 years before you start trying to change anything. Give it 10 if you can help it- you don't realize how young you are, don't go to war with your body yet.

Wait did it fall out or something
Ok so She has the most gorgeous insane Eyes.
Not agree, I get moodswings and negative factors when I am on the pill
It takes about 3 months for your hormones to re adjust
Should I do an update in 2 months then again? 😍

I haven't got my period yet and I'm 13 so I'm happy I haven't got it yet!! Thanks Macerly! I've been watching your videos since I was 9!!

Talk to a doctor first. They may be able to give you medication to make the process less painful.

Depression and anxiety, and infertility is one of the worse long term effects of birth control
I got too excited when I received the notification *again* xp

Watching this with period acne and the same cramps you have had. The pain!
I haven't been on the pill but I lost my period after having en ED and since it came back I have had the exact same feeling! So strange
Hurray for history nerd talks I love history stuff too
I have similar effects when going off the pill, on top of my endometriosis going ballistics! xD

Your period stopped because you were literally starving yourself. Eating under a 1000 calories is NOT okay.
