Haha it’s legit one of my favs 😂 I hope I’m bringing him some streams because that song is criminally underrated and the song has too low of views on RUclips in my opinion (I link it every time).
Lol life can be so funny. Same thing happened to me last year, I told myself this was my shopping spree trip to ren faire. I had budgeted so I could buy basically anything I wanted. I bought 2 things and some food 🙃
lol idk why that happens but when there’s a specific number all of a sudden I’m picky 😂 I after looking at my footage think of stuff I could have gotten but ah well 😂
Definitely a lot of good stuff! There was a lot I see at every faire so I got super picky since I know I’m gonna want so much stuff when we go to Colorado in a couple months. I already have a list 😂
Yeah, once we got it in was not crowded at all. I think once they work out the kinks with entry, it’ll be an even more of a nice vibe. There were snow cones and soft serve ice cream and lots of good food and treats with not a long wait (compared to Folsom Faire).
Definitely still a fun cute event and I will give them the benefit of the doubt LOL vibing to dad rock dressed like an elf was not on my bingo card this year but here we are 😂
The fair reminded me of the medieval/fantasy festivals we have here in the Netherlands, though the music wasn't quite the vibe of those either. The Fantasy festivals here are like market place, music festival, and some re-enactment stuff, witchy stuff, workshops, kids LARP playplace. But each festival is only once a year, which is sad.
I don't know how I survived dressed up at my first fair, I'm trying to think of costumes that will keep me cool 🧊. That could be a good video, if you have tips for keeping cool.
I’m still working on that myself 😂 only tips I have are to wear natural breathable fabrics and bring a parasol for shade. I’ve seen parasol’s with misters built in but they’re expensive (and not very aesthetic). Might try macgyvering something myself 🤔
Your videos inspired me to start going to Faires! Edge of Spring was actually my first and despite nearly melting it was so fun to dress up and feel all the magical vibes!!!! (Snowcones for lunch helped 😅) Just hit my second this past weekend in Shasta. Hope to find a Faire bestie like you two have cause y’all are adorable AF!
I LOVE your outfit! I so badly want to go to a Renaissance faire. I'm disabled and chronically ill, so can't get to any near-ish faires, but I'm seriously considering suggesting it to our local parks and rec department because I live near our local small town fairgrounds.
Haven't had a chance to watch some of your ren faire videos until now and this was super comfy! My partner and I are going to the Colorado Ren Faire for the first time in mid June and I'm unbelievably excited! Our local ren faire around SLC is DEFINITELY smaller in comparison; it leans more family friendly (as in, no fun drinks, for example, booo), so I'm super excited to experience the Colorado ren faire after hearing how big it is! Loved all the unique vendors you showed in this video, too! ✨
Colorado Ren Faire is so wonderful, I hope you guys love it! Their vendors are tier since they have strict policies for everything being original works/hand made and not resold Amazon/Temu/Aliexpress merchandise.
Your little mini faire looks similar to what we get in Australia. I'd love to go to a full renaissance faire one day although I think I'd be quite overwhelmed!
man this makes me really wanna try finding a local one in my area. i'm in southern california so i could probably make it to some of the big ones like the LA one but i feel like it'd be cool to find a smaller one. less people hopefully, i don't do well with crowds.
Fantastic! You all look Amazeballs :-D My crew and I are heading to the Red Lodge MT Faire tomorrow (it's Sat & Sun)!! CAN'T WAIT!!! (Google it cuz RUclips won't let me post the link here without being deleted XD) P.S. THOSE MOVES
Oh hey, I went to this faire on Mother’s Day with my mom! It’s fun to see a video about it! We had a great time but it WAS hot out. I agree about the dad rock, I’d definitely prefer more Celtic/medieval vibes but it wasn’t bad. Have you ever been to the Celtic Festival in Grass Valley? I went to that one the previous weekend and the music was amazing! It was also weirdly cold that weekend and I was thriving because I love the cold weather. 😂
I’ve been to the one called NorCal Ren Faire that takes place at Casa De Fruta grounds in Hollister CA, is that the one you’re thinking of? That one is great. A good medium sized faire. I have a 2 day vlog of it from back in October 😁
How do you find out about the Faires? I live in Auburn and didn't know about this until I was driving past and saw people dressed up. I couldn't find info online afterwards!
I only knew about it because some local followers commented asking if I was going. But typically I find out about local faires from ads on Facebook. Either I see them or my friends see them and send them my way.
Totally get what you mean about the dad music, but this goddamn song is in my head now so I’m gonna need this band’s name if anyone has it. Apparently I’m in a dad jam mood
I sleuthed : saturday’s musical acts were Harbor & Home, Achilles Wheel, Blu Egyptian ; sunday’s were Boot Juice and Red Dirt Ruckus 😂 I’m guessing you guys went Saturday? Sunday seems more country, if the name "boot juice" and the "red dirt" mention signify anything. Annnnnd I see two drummers 7:41 (which, omg 😭), so the band is Achilles Wheel (with its distinctive two drummers, for some reason). There, I shall seek my song and spare myself an extra daddyfied Spotify history. It shall only be slightly daddyish.
I found it!!! The song is called She’ll Wait (until the time is right). My search, to the satisfaction of only myself, is done. Anyhow, to come back to the video, it is lovely as ever. I love the vibe, the b-roll are wonderful and makes me really feel like I am here with you. I do love myself a craft faire with a crowd of fairies…
The background music is such a great vibe.
Po-ta-toes.
XD

now i gotta check out the song

Oh man I would have to bring a ton of$$$$ for the clothes and jewelry 😃😃😃😃😃
Definitely a lot of good stuff! There was a lot I see at every faire so I got super picky since I know I’m gonna want so much stuff when we go to Colorado in a couple months. I already have a list 😂
Those moves, tho! Looked like a fun little event, aside from the line issues.

Low key was rocking out to the dad music while editing 😂 ☮️ 🎸

Sounds similar to Australian ones, we have a few a year, nothing like the American ones.
those mushroom bags were so cute 😍🍄
I love these videos! There are no Ren Faires near me, so getting a little slice of that world is always cool!
I just love your Ren Faire videos. The editing just hits the spot.
Ty!!! I think ren faire vlogs are my fav videos to edit hehe 😁

POTATOES BOIL EM MASH EM STICK EM IN A STEW
You three are so wholesome ☺️
I love your renfaire videos so much, I can watch them all day. 🥰 Also... those MOVES. Go Sara! 😄
It looked like you guys had so much fun!
I love these vlogs! So sweet and fun! Feel like I'm actually there too!!

The sword fighting sound effects took me out 😂 🤣
Went to a convention last year where the pre-bought ticket line was huuuge but people buying on the day could go in immediately! So frustrating! 😂
Looks like so much fun!!!
😁

You should come to the first Celtic fest in Placentia ! It’s June 15/16
Those MOVES!!
Hmm..might have to check it out next year! 😊
Love your green outfit and fairy wings that all goes so good with your hair.
Looks like fun. Ren faire for Minnesota isn't till August when it is frigging hot.
August is such a rough month to have a faire 😭 wishing you the best of luck staying cool ♥️
Same here in Michigan. August-September😅
This fair is the same vibes as my local one. Not quite like what everyone talks about online but still fun
Your eye make-up looked so pretty! I am also always too hot at fairs! I need to figure out an outfit that is cool and cooling.
Thanks for sharing your experience. I found the open captions a little distracting though.
Those moves! 💃🕺

Do you recommend going to the NorCal Renfaire near san Felipe? I'm wondering if it's worth the drive 🤔 are there any you recommend in the NorCal area?

Achilles Wheel sounds familiar so it might be that! 😁
Where did you get your corset?
It’s a decorated/upcycled Orchard Corset (plain tan) that I had for tight lacing(years ago). I made a video a couple videos back showing the process 😁
😋✌️🫶😃👍👍
Dad music 😆😆😆
