Thanks for you comment, glad to hear about your positive experience! #1/2 Renew should be used once a year, I wouldn't use it more than that. If you would like to use a ceramic booster in-between that time frame I would use Carpro Reload once every 3 months. #3 System X does not recommend layering ceramic coatings, as you will see diminishing returns. This is a one layer coating system. Lastly, the order of operation is as follows: Iron removal Foam + Wash Clay Polish Foam + Wash IPA solution (We use Gyeon prep) Apply ceramic.

Thanks for sharing your experience! You bring up some really important points, especially about bird droppings and how quickly they can cause damage, even with a ceramic coating. It's true that extreme heat and the acidity in bird poop can still etch through coatings if not addressed quickly. I'm glad to hear that after a few washes and some buffing, the etching became less noticeable. And you're absolutely right about pollen-those tiny particles can definitely scratch the surface if you're not careful. Always good to use proper methods when dealing with those common contaminants! Thanks again for the helpful advice!
i see that system x says they seem like they are only one in the world on this sector but we cant see any tests or videos on youtube .Its not popular like gtechnic .Why ?
Good question, if I had to guess, I would say it is because Gtechnic is more of an open market consumer brand. While System X is geared more towards professionals, where you have to be certified to use it.
@@rideshinedetail did you test systemx ceramics or compare with gtechnic? i just wonder where is system x now in the world in top 3 ? for example gyeon mohs vs system x max or system x vs g technic ultra ?
What is difficult for me to understand is why there is a claim of 6 year warranty (assuming the coating is to last 6 years) but you have to put a topcoat yearly as sacrificial layer. I got my system x pro put on and the person I am working with is charging $350 for annual maintenance and extra $120 to add the topcoat. Also a note that I pretty much wash my car weekly and car is in pristine condition and topped with renew monthly.
It is standard in the industry to require a yearly inspection to keep the warranty active. However, $470 seems very steep. System X recommends charging a much more economical price. We charge $195 for a sedan, which includes the top coat.
System x max is junk, I paid 1500$ to have my brand new car corrected and coated with SXMax and the hood failed within 4 months and the roof and trunk failed shortly after. Car was maintained weekly with Carpro reset, full decon wash was done with Carpro lift and descale, and no coating revival. Polished it off and applied another coating (diy detail 5yr) and it’s going strong. Had gone back to the installer twice for issues and I just figured to cut my losses and redo it all myself, should have done that from the beginning.
This sounds more like an installer issue, rather than a fault of System X. We have installed countless Max coatings over the years, which are still going strong! When applying a ceramic coating, it is all about the prep work. If the installer fails to prep the vehicle correctly, then the ceramic will not perform as expected. So sorry to hear about your poor experience.
I paid $300 for top coat. My Chevy Trailblazer RS 2023 looks amazing! Worth every penny.
That's a great deal! So glad to hear that.
Very good deal!

Do you use a synthetic clay towel for annual maintenance? Curious the process
We use the mildest clay bar possible.

That's pretty steep.
Are any of these suitable for wrapped cars?
Yes, all of System X's products can be use don wraps!
Even the Pro gives insane gloss, gives my Ram 1500 Laramie Granite Crystal metallic a deeper richer look. I top with Renew few times a year.
Yes, we love Pro too!
How long after the coating did you add the renew?
Annual maintenance have a cost?
Yes, an annual maintenance includes a full exterior detail, including a full decontamination, as well as a ceramic topper, using Topcoat.
system X or C.quartz . which one is better ?
Carpro is one of our favorite brands, however, their Cquartz open market ceramic is not as powerful as a professional coating, like System X.
where can i buy any of the coatings from as im from uk?
You would have to find a certified installer near you to have it applied. Otherwise, you can buy their 9+ month ceramic called Renew on Amazon.

That's what a warranty is for if they truly applied max
