Forging a Ram's Head

  • In today's video I make a Ram's head out of a single piece of steel. Bill Carter taught me how to make this style of Ram's Head and he in turn was taught by his farther (so I am very grateful for his generosity). After a conversation with Bill he was happy for me to put this video out there on RUclips for you all to see how we make this Ram.
This is going to be the first video, of a series, in which I'm going to make several different animal heads including: Horse's, Highland Cow's, Dog's, Dragon's, Antelope's and Deer's. All of these animal heads are my own designs, but they stem from Bill's Ram's Head. Stick around if you want to see them all!

Greetings from Ireland, I really miss your videos. Perhaps you could do another one soon, maybe an animal head or a cooking video, you're great at those.

Oscar, I subscribed 2 days ago. I can honestly say I’ve learned more in those 2 days than I have watching RUclips in the last 12 months. Your hammer skills are unreal. I need to work out how to replay the videos in slow motion. 😃
