This video was requested so here it is! I also added some tips! :) This was done with my Frost/Fire Crusader build, so if anyone is interested in the equipment or the skill tree + progression, you can check out my video about it!
bro i really like your builds they are art, can you make a video about ai builds of da:inquisition but friendly fire on and all trials.(ff on is really hard to deal with if you wanna see good damage numbers, at least for me:D)
@@yigitefeersoy Not just for you. :) Friendly fire is a huge handicap - I would say that it is more of a handicap in Inquisition than in the previous games, because you have so few skills. And most skills deal FF. Building a FF AI is basically this: only spec on support skills and single target skills. I do have a few FF AI build in my AI build videos so you can check them out. Since FF limits the already limited amount of skills your team has, there is really not a whole lot of variations in terms of builds(frankly, this is why I find the FF playthroughs boring as hell). Mages can use Flashfire, Dispel and Winter's Grasp for offense, Barrier and Revival for support. Vivienne can mess around with Spirit Blade, Dorian and Solas can't use most of their skills. Solas can use Stonefist if you don't pick the aoe upgrade, and Dorian can use Walking Bomb if you pick the Concentrated Detonation. Sera is good with her regular Lightning Flask+Basic attack build. Varric is pure support, forget his offensive skills - Toxic Cloud all the way. Cole can use single target skills, with Mark of Death focus. Warrior AIs must not use Charging Bull, unless there is no other warrior or dual dagger rogue in the game, and go for full tank more. Livid, War Cry, Shield Wall are all a must for mid level warriors with these difficulty settings. Horn of Valor with the guard upgrade is also fantastic. With the specializations, Cass can still do her usual combo with Wrath of Heaven and Spell Purge, Blackwall is a champion so he can use Walking Fortress, and Bull can forget the whole Reaver tree - in my opinion, there is no way his AI can use it reliably with these settings. :)
@@AKisHerceg IMO, Friendly Fire should be a thing. Fireball that does not do damage to the entire room, no matter who is standing there? Bah, humbug, is every mage in Thedas Evoker to know Sculpt Spells? Though I agree it is especially annoying in DAI, in previous games, it was easier to compensate with resistance runes (in my recent DA2 game, my guys could laugh in a face of high Dragon, because of 99% fire resistance, and Mages could go nuts with Walking bombs, as Spirit Resistance was also pretty high on most characters). Shame they dropped armor runes from DAI, hopefully they will return in Dreadwolf...
@@Ariescz Yeah, I agree, it should be a thing, but it should be balanced... how come a hostile mage does not damage a spellsword with his rune, but I damage my team with mine? Where is the logic in that? A balanced, well crafted FF mode is indeed a good idea, but in Inquisition it is anything but that. It is literally just a way to cut your already limited amount skills/spells in half or even more. The execution is simply poor. Hence, I don't like it. :)
Yoo my man you are insane for doing this XD , i mean nice job , but the patience and the resilience to do it i don t think i can ever do this , good job bro looking forward to your next vid .
I just played though on this on my nightmare playthrough a few days ago, I use silverite to get battlemaster armor and use encore staves although it was not solo, I used Solas Dispel to get rid of the Alpha barrier
Этим классом можно всю игру в соло пройти) вот если бы ты некромантом показал как в соло тащишь, вот это был бы топ видос) люблю эту серию, ждём ДЭ4 🤜🏼🤛🏼
Do you like a Fire/Ice Tidarion with lightning cage-static cage while using energy barrage? You can get a massive burst of all three elements. My question to you is do you know if the damage from lightning cage procs your masterwork?
How do you get the fade step to steer as you do? I find my controls are too slow with respect to the step, the best I've been able to do is to get a hook on the end. I also assume you built the blade with cold so that you get the persistent ice armor, might have to try that next play though.
Once you get used to the ability, this gets easier, but... You kinda have to pre-steer. You're not crazy, fadestep really is too fast to be able to accurately steer normally.
I use the movement buttons and plan ahead. I just kinda "feel" when I need to hit left, right, up, down. I think if you use Fade Step a lot, you will also start "feeling" it. :) The blade is made from fire(dragon bone) and has a cold rune in it. To my knowledge Ice Armor does not work with the material of your equipment. I have Ice Armor all the time when I'm near enemies though, since I chill them non-stop, and being near chilled enemies will give me the bonus.
I placed a pinned comment here stating that the entire build can be accessed if you watch my Frost/Fire Crusader build video. :) Skills, progression, equipment, they are all there. I placed the build video at the end of this video as well, so check out the end, and click on the Frost/Fire Crusader build video there. :)
Rift mage is better at crowd control and it has unlimited mana - Knight Enchanter is better at survival because it has unlimited Barrier. They are both great, depending on what you are looking for. :)

Stargate
It's a crazy trip
You can go very far
You don't need a ship
Or even a caaaaaarrrr!!!

Man... that winter gasp sound is really annoying 🥶
How so?
Rift mage or this mage which one is better

how can you do a ice rune on a fire staff?
It only works on the Blade of Tidarion, which is a unique sword looking staff from the Trespasser dlc. :)
