When you say you sizzle from migraines do you mean your brain or more like entire body? Also do you get eye symptoms? My eyes get dry and painful and I get a bad headache behind my eyes feels like and it makes my forehead get terrible headaches. I've been hit in the head several times from sparring but the worst was when I slammed the back of my head into a metal basketball goal post going full speed for a layup and lost my balance and went backwards toward the pole. I couldn't see at all for at least 90 seconds. I suffered some headaches for weeks after that and my head was sore with a huge knot.
@Billy TheKidder yeah in the parking lot car hit me about 40 miles per hour and hit the windshield with my forehead. I cracked the window lol, did a 360 in the air, that I certainly remember before landing on the ground
@Lonzo Gastineau just metaphorically, it feels like your brain is on fire, and it sizzles like boiling water. Because of accident I have intercranial hypertension, which causes migraines. If you have pressure in your eyes constantly it could be same thing. Mine causes me to go temporary blind. When it got bad I could not do anything about it. I tried last year cbd, thc and alcohol. And though some of it helped, I didn't like hazyniness of the mind. I have thc tincture in the fridge in case I start going blind, as it's the onset of headache so big that it hurts to move an inch, and next 3-4 hours will be spent in the bathtub half dying from an almost stroke, and alternating cold and hot water helped sometimes. But usually the pain is so bad, I am literally clinging on. CTE can be similar to this. I dread how fighters get bashed in the head for a living. Right now I don't drink, I don't take thc or cbd, but it's kind of a counter measure if I am in that scary type of pain. Blockages trap spinal liquid, and spinal liquid begins to travel through veins, instead of where it is supposed to.

Jon, in 1979 my cousin Danny never got the help he needed after losing his leg in Vietnam, and the VA put it off and put if off....and then in 1979 in downtown Miami he blew his brains out in front of people at the corner of Flagler Street & NW 2nd Ave, all could have been prevented if he had only gotten the help he needed
@@richwiggin8990 thanks brother. Danny was a hero to me, and I was crestfallen after he came back from Vietnam....he had been this athletic dude, who played football, baseball and wrestling in High School. He worked out at home & lifted some at a gym, but when he came home he was missing a leg, skinny & drug addicted to heroin to fight all his pains & numb his life realities. So very very sad....had worked as a model too....just a freakin shame.
Damn, he must've had some shit people around him then. There's no way they should have given him that news beforehand. Talk about a knockout blow before even stepping in the ring....
There was a short documentary on Phil where he went back to his childhood home and was hanging out with his family. He looked happy and looked like he had a good family of support. Not sure what happened
Seems like even small changes in your micro-environment can change your outlook and life big-time. Take the same person -- put him in the library, he might feel like studying; put him in front of the TV, he might watch & eat junk for hours. You can drift away fairly easily in life into unpleasant scenes if your guard rails are weak. You can look around then and everything has changed, like a bad dream. And you can't always get back.
I'm a lifelong fan of combat sports. Watched boxing since the early 70's. Watched UFC since its inception. Seeing shit like this makes me feel guilty. Do we as fans bear ANY responsibility for supporting and spending $$ on fights where men (and now women) try to literally beat the shit out of each other and knock each other unconscious? Why do I get so hyped up when I see spectacular knockouts? It seems f****ed up on a deep level. So sure. It's easy to judge Baroni. Or Benoit. Or any of the other athletes who suffered brain damage and did horrible things. I'm not defending Baroni. Only God knows what went through Phil's mind when he killed that woman. But I think maybe we fans all bear some guilt for the repercussions of our bloodlust that pay human beings to severely hurt one another.
Okay.. we have no idea if Phil has CTE. We need to stop using that as a reason "why" anytime fighter does something. Especially when there's no medical evidence saying he even has CTE.
@@tyrant7583 I didn't say he has CTE. I said only God knows what was in Phil's mind when he killed that girl. But I will say this. If the video is to be believed Phil was exhibiting signs of some form of brain damage in the UFC when he was 32. He fought forr a decade after that. I think it's a safe bet that he suffered SOME level of brain injury during that time. Does that excuse what he did? No. Same thing with Benoit (whose brain autopsy showed damage similiar to that of an 80 year old Alzheimers patient). But does that take us all off the hook for watching, encouraging and paying men and women to beat each other up?
@@tyrant7583 we have video evidence, he has been hit so many times he has 7 knockout losses alone, and even in many of his wins he ate some serious strikes. From everything i have heard about him he has always been a piece if trash so he may have done this cte or not. Brain injuries can absolutely cause this, i had a friend in 3rd grade who got hit by a car on his bike on way to school and had brain injury and went from the nicest kid to an ahole prick afterwards, it was like a totally different person.
@@timothycarey3883 so what.. there's fighter's with more KO losses and they don't have CTE. There's a reason why doctors do medical test on their patients. Because saying "he got hit a lot" is not enough scientific evidence to diagnose a disease like CTE.
Long term Ped’s abuse is a common factor with many of these athletes as well and I can’t fathom under any circumstances that there’s not a direct correlation between them both physically and mentally.

How often do you think Phil’s supposed cte will flare up in that Mexican prison? My guess is about as often as it did in the gym, in the cage, in the night clubs and everywhere grown men are. Which means never.
Best comment. It’s so convenient how his medical problems only caused him to attack a woman in private. Men like him are not unusual. Those anger management issues are never uncontrollable if they’re in the presence of someone stronger than them.
The UFC has extended their funding to the Cleveland Clinic for another 5 years to help research CTE and head trauma. I’m not saying it’s enough or not enough, I’m just putting the information out there.
The problem with some fighters and it’s something that in the past people have call me a pussy for. I don’t do or believe in hard sparring at all. It's typical for ppl around these ppl to give up and who knows maybe he and many more were literally screaming for help because I did and it came down to me helping myself with therapy and continuing to go to therapy. But this is all after I accidentally cut off my pointer, middle and shattered ring finger. Required 2 surgeries and I had to totally change my life but it humbled me. And sometimes gifts are hidden in disaster, it's all how you want to look at it or grow. Either way an innocent woman was killed in an ordeal where could have been stopped years prior. But we're going to see more this because many fighters are getting to that age who fought when there wasn't really a concussion protocol or anything. So let's keep that in mind. I think he had a bunch of roids, roid addiction and etc which I think is more an issue than anything Because think of how long hockey has been around and hockey hits are 30% harder than NFL hits amd they play 6x the games in a regular season. Steroids are the issue
There have been many athletes suffering from CTE without involuntary rage, killing and engaging in necrophilia. I would blame PED's more than CTE. If Baroni wasn't using substances that knowingly make people rage at any given moment, this woman would probably still be alive. Why are we talking about CTE? Is this a diversion tactic?

I've taken more serious shots to the head than anyone I know. I'm a real tough guy and I have never been knocked unconscious, but a few times I had such bad concussions that I couldn't stand up or i would have passed out and I got sick to my stomach. I'm 60 years old now and I am permanently disabled from a work accident 7 years ago. I fell off a barn roof 18 feet onto the frozen ground face first. I never lost consciousness. I had brain tissue coming out of my broken eye sockets. They gave me something in the emergency room to make me sleep, i didn't wake up for 3 days. I lost part of my brain and had a bunch of other serious injuries. Now I live in a constant state of pain and I have a lot of issues because of my brain injury. Makes life very difficult. I have to be careful cause sometimes even little things can set me off into a rage. I know it's because of my brain injury, but I really struggle to control my anger!

I couldn't see at all for at least 90 seconds. I suffered some headaches for weeks after that and my head was sore with a huge knot.
You were hit on your foot by a car?
@@righteousone8454 Interesting, I get random migraines that start with going almost completely blind in my right eye. Maybe some of the shots I’ve taken were the cause. And here I was joking over your word choice.. Hope you can manage alright bud.

CTE isn't the problem. Some people are just wired for pure evil. What an awful person.

He's really F'ed too. White dude in a Mexican cartel ran prison.. He's in hell.
So sad Rest in Peace Paula🙏
Didn’t you listened to the guy ? Baroni had cte. his head was bad is no like he was a bad person
Dont fall for this nonsense bro, they are trying to make it sound as bad as possible and what he did was bad enough they dont need to go all gross on us. You could tell baroni was a douchebag from some behind the scenes stuff you see sometimes
First time viewer. What a treat. Interestingly, Phil friend requested me on Instagram just a day before the reported you-know-what. All I did was remember him randomly, look him up on IG and liked his story post then I got a friend request not long after. I dunno why but immediately I thought it was desperation. What a tragic story.
Rip to your cousin. I’m sorry he had to deal with that in life.
Apparently he got a call that his mom died right before he walked out for that bare knuckle match with Leben. Didn’t look like he tried at all.
@@polarvortex3294I don’t know how you described that so well. But yes.
These documentary style videos are 🔥 🔥🔥
Long term Ped’s abuse is a common factor with many of these athletes as well and I can’t fathom under any circumstances that there’s not a direct correlation between them both physically and mentally.
Finally! Somebody owns a brain. I believe his steroid abuse is just as if not more responsible for these horrific acts.

Comment is waaay underated. 👌
I believe in getting different looks but absolutely no contact to the head.
I’ve seen way too many guys that are sparring four times a week and I mean hard sparring like their life is on the line with absolutely no fights coming up. Many of them are punch drunk or dead.
Our brains are extremely delicate.

K personally someone who suffers from a TBI and now signs of cte at age 36 due to 8 documented concussions. Which I played a entire weekend of hockey with a fractured T1 vertebrae and being knocked unconscious but they never saw the fracture until on the way home and called my dad. I've had a lot of serious stuff happen to me and these guys had their trials and tribulations so um until you actually go through non essential procedure that doesn't include your appearance Jon Bravo Films.
I think he had a bunch of roids, roid addiction and etc which I think is more an issue than anything
Because think of how long hockey has been around and hockey hits are 30% harder than NFL hits amd they play 6x the games in a regular season.

And he didn't go the Mexico because he was so addicted to steroids that he needed a cheap readily available supply of '"roids." He stayed in Mexico because he had a warrant out of New York.
