A bit of a deep comment here, but I recently found your channel (1 hour ago actually).
When I was 13 years old I lost my father. I was never taught how to shave and was never taught most "manly" things, now I am nearly 31 years old. As completely bizarre as this sounds, just you stood there shaving, teaching and just talking, gave me the sense of being spoken to by a father. So, just want to say thank you Sinatra, you may not realize it but there's a lot of men who are missing out on having someone like you in their lives, and you making this content gives them something they have wanted for a very long, knowledge and guidance.
I have always had facial hair due to the fear of giving myself razor burn, bumps and really bad irritation, so I have been on a journey for mens skin care and found you, i am going to get myself a safety razor and hopefully have a nice smooth face with some practice. Thank you very much for being here and making this.

I had a Barbasol shave this morning. 1919 as a preshave, regular cream, Brisk aftershave, 1919 balm. Fantastic! 💈🇺🇸👍
I have a Gillette razor from the 1920's. Very similar to your 1918. Nothing fancy. Does the job it was designed to do.

Jurassic Park was actually where I first heard of Barbasol, and I bought my first can because of that movie! My dad had always used Gillette Foamy or Amway Whisker Whiz instead. And "Ghostbumps" is so cute! And it looks like I'll have to find a Gillette Old sometime, I've been on a GEM Micromatic kick but it would be awesome to have something even older than that.
Thought u might have used the vintage barbasol razor with the free barbasol shaving cream.

Very nice sir. For me next February will make 10 years of wet shaving. I ordered some Proraso Red and my all time favorite, Proraso green which is the menthol and eucalyptus soap. I also ordered a razor that's similar to the Van Der Hagen Twist To Open that came in a blue case and a blade sampler pack. I've been wet shaving ever since.
Great video. Every Friday is my Barbasol shave. I'll use the foam and the 1919 aftershave - great stuff. I love my 1918 Gillette Khaki set. It's definitely one of my favorites in my collection. However, I rarely use it due to it being pretty aggressive. I'll always get a few nicks on my neck.

Have you tried ELEMIS Ice Cool Foaming Shave Gel for Men? It’s really good shaving gel. It has witch hazel & aloe for a post-shave cooling effect and most of all it’s medium thick meaning it don’t clump. It is pricey, but well worth it.

Great shave. Seems like they knocked it out if the ballpark with the first safety razors and keep trying to improve on something that was already pretty perfect already. Did you ever get your car and house repairs all straightened out?
Similar to my shave last night. I used my Gillette razor made in the third quarter of 1952 (when I was born) and Barbasol. However I didn't go with a Feather blade last night. It is a very mild razor so no BBS shave but it was a good shave with zero irritation.

Just bought some barbasol vitamin e cream instead of imperial leather I usually use.
I myself really love that loook for barbasol wish would bring it back and keep instead what have with the shield just something about the design

I agree! I have a friend that’s friends with Mike Judge, and I drop little hints here and there. I even went to Judge’s 50th birthday party at a little bar, but we didn’t talk much.

I just had a shave with a Gillette 1917 razor I bought from eBay and yeah it’s really aggressive and I got a few nicks from it…..I heard that Gillette made theses types because guys were still use to using straight razors and I can believe that!!!! 🩹🩹🪒
