Partly thanks to you, I just shaved with a safety razor for the first time in my 23 years. It was great, I'm a little itchy from some razor burn but I only cut myself once and the whole process was painless and peaceful. It's my new go-to, thanks internet stranger
Watching you shave is my main source of entertainment. I don't have many friends and I can't find my dog or my wife, I think they went to the store...,I hope anyway 😁
I counted 12-19 (left vs. right side) strokes to shave hair from the side of your jaw. With 5 multiblade that would have been almost a hundred strokes. And shaving the right sideburn it took maybe 34 strokes, quite lot.
dude you are crazy however I was thoroughly entertained and I enjoyed this video so much I got a good laugh out of it next time try Cool Whip LOL thanks for sharing Happy Holidays
That was truly a can of goo!!! That was fun. Thanks for trying that. We now know whipped cream can be a substitute for shaving cream. Who woulda thunk it?
My first safety razor shave was a full beard shave with a 1950's ball teck gilette razor wilkinsonsword blade more cheek hair up to my lower lip done 5 more shaves must confess used shaving soap not whipped cream no nicks though🙂
Congrts! I had my very first barbershop-shave today, to celebrate the end of our scruffy struggle. What a treat, especially with wet towels! Maybe a trip to a local old-school texan barber could be a future video?
Sounded like take 5 in the background in the beginning! Good classic jazz song! I remember playing it in freshman year of high-school in jazz band! Good times! 😁👌🏻
OOH MAN THAT LEMMY REFERENCE, on point! Not gonna lie, I kinda miss my mustache. I actually had tickets to see Motörhead play at Las Vegas. Sadly, he passed away before I had a chance to go and see them.
I know what you are going through, buddy ! I was covered in coconut cream 🥧 pies in a festival booth when I was in all boy high school . It gave the teachers a turn to take us down a peg or two. We provided the laughs for our teachers and parents. I remember , after the humiliation of being pied beyond recognition with my school buddies , we shaved the cream and custard and crust pieces off our faces.
I can hear it now..."I say my dear Sherlock...does thou know of the Ace of Spades by chance?!" I was hoping for the Lemmy look to come first and was not disappointed.
I hope everyone knows who Lemme was! He’s a legend. I’m sure you’ve heard “Ace of Spades” just as a reminder. And hey, I made it through my FIRST shave with a safety razor without chopping my face up! They are addictive! You can’t go back once you start and just want more of them. So in the long run, they end up costing you a fortune! Haha. If you have the addictive mindset like me.
Good job!! I grew a moustache throughout November, took it off last night with my Rockwell 6s 👍👍 Feels so much better now (and makes me look a bit younger too) Keep up the awesome videos!!!
Man that Gillette is a beast. I need to get me a vintage Gillette. I have the new king c Gillette safety razor as my first safety razor. It’s been great for me but I really like your 1918 open comb. The mustache and side burns looks good on you buddy.

Gillette 7 o’clock super platinum there my favorite de blades they still make a bunch of different Gillette de blades I so wish they would make some new DE razors anniversary
The long wait is over !! Been waiting for this video. Yes Gillette still sells DE razor blades. I live in Thailand and that’s all I can find at the nearest Tesco. Wet shaving supplies are incredibly hard to find here and if you do they are so over priced. Anything ‘western’ here is ridiculously priced. Anyways looking forward to your shaving videos again
Then go Asian. Dorco blades 145thb for 100. Japanese wing handle 60 for a 3 part and 100thb fire a butterfly. Shaving brush 25thb.... So definitely not expensive
Pretty sure I saw you channel your inner Ron Perlman briefly somewhere in the middle of this shaving experience while chopping that beard down. He came out for just a moment.
This reminded me of a Seinfeld episode when Kramer shaved with butter, now steer clear of Newman he might be around the corner with some sprinkles for that whip cream.
Whoooohhhuu finally, and no never seen anyone shave with whipped cream The Lemmy look so James Hetfield i called it The Hetfield beard as i didnt know about Motörhead when i first started listening to Metallica and Heavy Metal / Thrash Metal back in the early 1990´s Tony Iommi Stasch the pinselthin one

I just enjoy watching your video man. It’s like combination of a good looking man with a taste for vantage stuff. Love it. I’m binge watching g your videos. Ps. I just started about 2 weeks ago to shave with a DE from the top Gillette fusion pro glide. It is a challenge but I enjoy it. A work in progress.
Wish we had something as good, cheap and reliable in the UK as Barbasol for shaving goo. Closest thing is Gillette foam but in a thin can and not exactly cheap, shop brands all smell cheap and nasty, is usually way too thick which can clog your razor needing rinsing more often, it continues to expand constantly once out of the can and on your face, meaning it can drop off whilst applying and shaving. We even have a terrible fashion of "shaving gel", which is green gel that takes time and effort to work up into a foam, mostly producing a weak lather that literally drips off your face from lack of air and too heavy. It really got me into old school shaving soaps lathered with a brush, can create the consistency and amount you want with the brush yourself instead of excess waste from the can, plus discovered how tallow soaps produces a fantastic sticky yet smooth lubrication which leaves lovely moisturised skin, much better than slippery glycerine used in shaving canned goop that all gets washed off in water. Smell so nice and last so much longer.
Partly thanks to you, I just shaved with a safety razor for the first time in my 23 years.

Glad you liked it! I love sharing this technique with new people. Good luck going forward!
How have I binge watched you for 5 hours straight it’s 2am.

Did you take a shower after this?
Thanks for keeping your promise!

It's the fat in the cream that helps the shave isn't it? Maybe you could follow this up shaving with a stick of butter! :D
With gravy as an aftershave!
Haha :D
@@Larry Hello, you!
Maybe ingredients in the whipped cream include an emulsifier; the fat alone may be less effective in helping keep the hair wetted.
I laughed so much at this video. Sinatra my guy, you are a character and a half. The reaction to the whipped cream was priceless.
That’s a proper London accent you are a cool man love watching your videos loads of respect from Bradford England
If i'm being honest that look at 7:07 makes you look more badass
That was a fun shave 😊
It really was.
Haha! Man the lemmy was cool, but you remind me of a fifties British teddy boy.
Don’t mess with us Teds!

Loved the British accent!!🇬🇧🇬🇧👍👍
That was truly a can of goo!!! That was fun. Thanks for trying that. We now know whipped cream can be a substitute for shaving cream. Who woulda thunk it?
I always wondered. Wonder no more.
Love hearing “take five” in the background lol
This is easily the greatest youtube shaving video ever recorded.
My first safety razor shave was a full beard shave with a 1950's ball teck gilette razor wilkinsonsword blade more cheek hair up to my lower lip done 5 more shaves must confess used shaving soap not whipped cream no nicks though🙂
15:48 "that...that... eh that... that shouldn't... that's gone" hahaha!! Love the pencil thin!
You actually did it! I feel so rewarded after all the videos of you theorizing what shaving with whipped cream would feel like
Great job Sinatra! That whipped cream was surprising especially with a feather blade.
I know! It was gross but it worked.
Lol, a good day to you Mr Lemmy Watson. Fancy a shave and a whiskey? Win or lose it's all the same.
Love me some Motörhead.
That beard looks good on you bro love the vids

I wouldn’t recommend it!
Hi S. L. It definately was a lot of fun. Wouldn`t have missed it for the world. Cheers.😊

I prefer using the Barbasol shaving cream than whipped cream for shaving.

Peppermint whipped cream sounds very good. Didn't know such a thing existed.
It is good! Just not for shaving.

Gillette does sell safety razor blades but they mostly only sell them out of Russia. Highly recommend Gillette 7 O’Clock blades.
