  • The Swiss Wall is, to many people, the hardest ski run in the world. It sits within the Avoriaz ski area, within the wider Portes du Soleil ski resort. This is my POV experience of skiing the hardest ski run in the world.

It sits within a beautiful part of the French Alps. Among the beauty, is a run that knows how to bite. It's as much a test of skill as it is endurance.
The Swiss Wall/Le Pas de Chavanette features moguls resembling small cars, and is a formidable challenge that should not be underestimated. Le Pas de Chavanette, also referred to by locals as Le Mur Suisse (the Swiss Wall), is a remarkably steep and challenging slope located on the border of France and Switzerland. Classified as an Orange run, it boasts a kilometre-long piste with a staggering 333 meters of vertical drop.

    My motto is:
If You never turn and brake there is nearly no chance to fall. If people would follow this rule there wouldn't be any bumps and this place would be easy to ski 😂

      That's far from true

These moguls actually appear naturally, they’re not man made

If you'd ball up and dki the tops of the moguls, it wouldn't be so icy!

Absolutely agree, however far too steep at the top of this run even for experienced skiers to ski the tops of these moguls!

@@liftpassorg If you say so, the steeper the Drop the more important it is to get better. You don't haver to be pro to do it, just able to view your line and commit. I was doing it back in Highschool on double diamonds and expert only resort runs. With that said it isn't a pro thing it is a technic thing. Confidence is all key in Skiing. If you can't do it, practice your hops to get the it rollin. We all can do it just maybe not the same way.
Confidence and dedication required. I know the no fall zones are creepy scarey but thats why we ski, RIGHT??

    I've been skiing the swiss wall since I'm 15 (I'm 28 now)
I find it so easy (since i'm 15 lol)
I've posted a video of a huge fall at the swiss wall of a young girl, when I skied this week-end.
