I had the enjoyment of skiing that run with fresh unprepared powder in the sunshine, that was definitely an experience I'll never forget.

Agree that this is a fantastic piste, and I remember skiing this piste shortly before 4pm with the additional adrenaline that I will have to make it over Cime Caron or Col de Rosael to get back to my accommodation in VT before 4.15pm! Had to set an alarm on my phone. I don't think you would have cut it so close if you stayed in Courchevel!
Haha, nothing quite like skiing against the clock! Yes, early afternoon departure required to get back over to Courchevel in time.

For tourists who don't know how to ski it's the biggest thing and challenge to ride the swiss wall. I'm a local and I'm riding this piste/run since I'm 5 years old....
I've been skiing the swiss wall since I'm 15 (I'm 28 now) I find it so easy (since i'm 15 lol) I've posted a video of a huge fall at the swiss wall of a young girl, when I skied this week-end.
That's a regular black run in North America.
Nice skiing, enjoyed the video! Heading to VT for the 4th time in March but think I have only been to Orelle once, totally forgot how nice this run is!

If you'd ball up and dki the tops of the moguls, it wouldn't be so icy!
Absolutely agree, however far too steep at the top of this run even for experienced skiers to ski the tops of these moguls!
@@liftpassorg If you say so, the steeper the Drop the more important it is to get better. You don't haver to be pro to do it, just able to view your line and commit. I was doing it back in Highschool on double diamonds and expert only resort runs. With that said it isn't a pro thing it is a technic thing. Confidence is all key in Skiing. If you can't do it, practice your hops to get the it rollin. We all can do it just maybe not the same way. Confidence and dedication required. I know the no fall zones are creepy scarey but thats why we ski, RIGHT??
My motto is: If You never turn and brake there is nearly no chance to fall. If people would follow this rule there wouldn't be any bumps and this place would be easy to ski 😂
