Higher fidelity vs lower fidelity concept is life changing.
I'm an artist line based most of the time, but I can't wait to start practicing my painting.

a lot of good information and food for thought especially for those of us just starting out.
a future topic - rule of thirds or golden ration which one and when and/or why

Not studying a Mullins piece when it comes to brushwork is CRIMINAL, he has loose brushwork EVEN IN AREAS OF DETAIL

On Mullins Schoolism he says he uses noise and chaos as a texture, and then he pulls out the edges/silhouettes of the focal point with shape and value contrast. He said it's because due to our vision and cone of focus, nearly everything in our peripherals becomes visual noise anyways, which is why so much is implied in his paintings.
      It's really awesome
