I really like how you point out the damage areas the best I have seen
I'm glad you found it helpful, thank you for watching!!
Benji's are my favorite. I've got a few nice ones but I just like stacking them. My favorite part of the Benji is the eagle on the back busting a flex.
I am turning into a Benji apologist, it's becoming my favorite of all the half dollars for sure.
Information packed!
Thanks for watching, I hope it was helpful!
i know its been a year. But i founbd(at a bank!) a 1963 FBL half dollar. Not only was it FBL, it was also in incredible condition. It had one, barely visible scratch. Only visible in the right angle. It has no other scratch that i am aware of. it might be a ms65 but im hoping for a 65+ but thats just me. Anyways i paid 50C for it so im very happy.
The location of the scratch will be the determining factor, nonetheless that is a GREAT find!!
it is on the fields which sucks but the ms65+ one has WAY more scratches than mine. So i "might" be able to get ams 66 which would make my coin worth about 7500 since it is toned and i know people want W(white) which means no toning. Second the coin matches up with the 66 but the 66 has scuffs on the high points like the curls. Which (maybe) could mean it is a 66+ but im mist happy with a 66. sorry ive said a lot just a cool find from a bank.@@LenHere
oh yeah its also a very small scratch, only visible in certain light@@LenHere
First!!!
2nd!
I have one half dollar 1951
Very good information. I don’t have much Franklins. But I appreciate the education
Thanks for watching! What do you collect??
@@LenHere I collect a little of everything. But my main things are definitely Morgan dollars. I’m 5 away from date/mint mark set. Then vintage silver would be the next thing.
likes and subbed
Thank you sir!!!
I have a 1963 struck though grease
Very cool, that's a keeper!
I bought around 150-200 Franklins about 5 years ago and have never looked through them for key dates as I just bought them for "stacking"...I better go through them! I hear the 1955 is fairly rare?
Check the Red Book for mintages on different years. Thanks for watching, glad it was helpful!
What do you think that bugs bunny is worth in that condition? Ballpark?
Maybe $40ish, haven't really checked the market tho...
