Which Doctors is a mini-documentary by the Aga Khan University's Graduate School of Media and Communications, that explores the world of alternative medicines in Kenya. An estimated 70 percent of Kenyans rely on traditional medicine as the primary source of care, with up to 9 in 10 using medicinal plants as part of any treatment process. However, many urbanites still take a skeptical view of non-Western medicine, considering it unscientific and the practitioners as little more than quacks and conmen who prey on the ignorant.
This documentary seeks to lift the veil surrounding the practice of traditional and alternative medicine and answer the question: Does it work?
