my cockapoo was desperate at walking in the beginning on the lead it completely put me off bringing her for walks she gets extremely excited around other dogs and other people and jumps on the other dogs she’s good at walking on the lead now but i think just there’s no training her if that’s her automatic response to run to other dogs. it’s nice being able to share my experiences with other cockapoo owners 🙂
I know what you mean, some things are harder to train as it’s their natural instinct. I’m currently trying to work on Millie’s confidence with other dogs. If they start barking at her or she doesn’t know them, then she gets scared. But once she knows them she barks and wants to play. It’s one extreme or another 😂
@@MillieaCockapoo My cockapoo is nuts . But compared to her now vs six months she’s come on brilliantly . The vet thinks we should spay her whenever we think she’s the most calm . Probably 6 months after the pups if she has any
It’s from equafleece. They can be expensive depending on the size but 100% worth it as it keeps them dry even if they go swimming. You just have to dry their paws, head and bum. The downside is with long haired dogs it causes matting, especially under the arm pits and on the legs. It’s not a problem if you already brush them most days x
Millie naturally barked at me if I didn't throw her toys quick enough, so I just added the word 'speak' then when she barked, she would get the toy. A lot of Millies tricks have been things she's naturally done.
Monday to Friday between 30 minutes and 1 hour. Then at the weekend 1:30 to 3 hours normally but we have done longer. Like when we climbed Ben Nevis, that took 8 hours.
Millie is such a gorgeous dog. Thanks very much for sharing xx

That’s probably a good idea. I’m spaying Millie 3 months after her season, as that’s when their hormones are meant to be lowest 😊
Where did you get her little coat from? x
