By far my favorite day to day reel

Zillion is the best reel of all time. all brakes at zero I can send light lures. it comes down to the line, rod, and casting ability.

Not the best reel of all time, but the best at its price point for sure.

Is there a shallow spool available that I can put in the 100? I saw on Gomexus a sv boost shallow spool but not sure if it fits this reel

Cheers, would the Tatula Elite 100 have the smaller frame as the 2024 SV 100 or is it the older style? Is the spool the only difference? I palmed the 24 SV 100 and loved the feel but would like just a bit more line capacity. Thanks for the feedback.

Would you say the SV boost casting distance is on par with the Magforce Z system? Looking to get as much distance as possible casting 3/8-1/2oz or so lures. Not sure if the Tatula 100 or SV 100 would be better for that.

Thanks very much for the info. Would the 100 stand up to saltwater ok?

I agree about sv being a tool for any job. Daiwa has the best breaking system hands down. …. I wish Daiwa’s fit my hand better because then id have all rods with them.

Best braking system for ppl don't know how to use a baitcaster, daiwa distance sucks and too bulky!

    The daiwa CC 80 (7ft 3in) is a great rod/reel also

Would you say it’s small enough for a 6 year old? I tend to think small baitcaster the way to learn. Spinning reel has too many things going on.

The 150 was designed for Braided line. Good Interview with Diawa engineer on TW youtube.

I cast Tatula300 the 2018 model for anything 40-200g without any adjustments.

I just bought the 100, and I'm pairing it with an ugly stik. Is this a big brain move for someone who has never used a baitcaster before, or should I have invested more in a rod?

If we arent supposed to adjust the “zero adjust” knob, then why include the knob at all? Is the zero adjust feature just for marketing? Seems to me you could still use the knob for further fine adjustment? By the way, my new 100 right out of the box was way off, the spool tension knob was way too loose, by at least a half a turn, so don’t trust that knob to be pre-set at the factory.

Can someone help me? I'm wondering if Tatula 100 can be used for 2oz baits? I would be grateful if someone could help me!!!

Yeah it can handle it just fine. But depends more on if your bombing long cast with heavy line or fishing up close more often. If you want long casts and your using 50-65lb line go with the 150
