- The Daiwa Tatula SV TW reel is the smallest and lightest most stress-free reel Daiwa has ever built. These amazing Tatula SV reels are coming in at a featherweight of 6.7 oz. What really makes this reel special is the patented SV Spool and Airbrake technology. These two features work together to minimize backlashes while allowing the reel to achieve extreme cast-ability with unmatched control by using both magnetic braking and centrifugal braking technology.
The Daiwa Zero Adjust spool provides settings to finely tune the spool tension and T-Wing System-level wind opens up line feed, all working together to cast longer, more accurately and provide you the stress-free control of not having to worry about backlashing when casting in the wind, skipping baits or casting light lures. This is by far my favorite reel I have in my lineup.

Just ordered one from Ebay 8.1.1 version. I own a daiwa tatula HD200 for 7 years now and honestly my best baitcaster to date. Can’t wait to test this SV tatula.
Is better then curado dc? I mean which one cast further?
I've been fishing for about 27 years. Daiwa is superior. Nobody makes casting reels better than them. The T-wing system, unique magnetic braking system, beefy drag washers, cool design and looks, they have everything an angler could want.
Just a quick note. The reason that the spool tension knob is called zero adjust, is that it is set at the factory and was not supposed to be adjusted by the user. They made it hard to grab on purpose.
Hm, I had no idea. Thats kinda cool
I absolutely adore the Daiwa braking system
It's the best!
have you tried the 2021 Zillion sv boost (2 step brake) system? i can't believe how good it is, they took something so good and made it even better
@@golforfishing I have not. I sure would like to though!
I have very similar reel collection. Last summer I bought my first US Curado DC, really liked the DC and thought it could skip well. I found it works best for dedicated crank reel. Recently I got into JDM reels because the exchange rate is sweet right now so I bought a SLX 70 DC, with the thought it’d be my skipping reel. It’s ok, but I use it as my Chatterbait reel. And everyone has a Scorpion DC, so I bought one of those last month. And use that for spinnerbait, which is perfect IMO. I just purchased a Tatula SV TW. So I’m going to let you know if it’s a better skipping reel than a DC. I hope it is.
So?
It’s probably my favorite reel I own. I use it for flip/pitch and skipping. Can’t beat this reel for the price point!
And the tatula its very good for skipping ?
What kind of drag pressure does this reel have. Is it an 11lb. drag like the Coastal TW 150 ?
What’s the difference between this one and the matte finish?! Please and thank you I just figured out the difference between the 2017 and 2020 matte finish
Honestly not sure which one you are talking about. Could you provide a link to the matte finish?
I felt the exact same way about my Tatula SV as you did. Better reel than my SLX DC in my opinion. Would you have any recommendations for a sensitive rod, im looking for a MedHevy Fast action casting rod but my main concern is sensitivity for bottom dragging. Looking to stay under $200. Would really appreciate any recommendations. Thank you. Awesome video.
Thank you! The Shimano Zodias has some great sensitivity. it is about $200 though.
What would be a good reel for crank baits. Not lipless mainly square bill flat bill and maybe some deep divers here and there
Looking for a reel to use for frogging for bass/snakeheads. Any suggestions? South Florida fishing pond/ditch hopping type stuff
This reel would be great for that. Otherwise really just about any reel would be fine for frogging. I would recommend you get a real with a high MAX Drag though. Something like the Favorite Soleus for example.
Hey man , what do you think about the daiwa costal tws 200??
Cant decide if I want to buy the scorpion DC or the daiwa costal tws 200
@@theroofbloweroffer2669 Honestly I can't say because I don't own one, but I do want to get one. Go with what you want both reels should be great!
Does anyone else not like DC reels? I own 4 Shimano reels (1 is a curado DC) and it is by far my least favorite reel. It is only good for distance casting. Mgl 150 is the 🐐
I have 3 DCs and I love them all!
I have a carado dc and I can't set up the spool tension knob the way it says in the manual. It back lashes! I have to tighten down the spool tension knob for every lure for it to cast right! The DC thing in my opinion is a gimmick to get you to spend your money. It doesn't work as advertised in the manual!
Thanks, I needed to know more, it's highly recommended, and little pricey, but whats new😂
Cool!
👊🏼👊🏼
Nice diawa 👍🏼🎣🔥 I whant to buy the diawa salamander bait caster reel 👍🏼🔥
Thanks! I didn't know they had a salamander reel. I will have to check it out.
Are they the same?
No words, just likessssssss!! Do not waste your time = Promo'SM!
huh?
@@wojfishing5322 he’s trying to say that you’re sponsored by daiwa
