    Can you make a video on how you made your wheel rack?

    Any template or guidance available on the standup bike racks? they look super sturdy!

      We sort of just made them on our own, tracing the general shape of the wheel, to hold the tire in place and using 1x1 pieces of wood to space it out and brace it

    Damn that is a sweet setup. Is you dad a carpenter by trade? that's some pretty nice work he/you did. Thanks for the tour

      His dad did construction, so he learned a lot from him, but he’s and electrical engineer by day! Just loves working with wood

    Thanks for the tour! Very cool van! I’m looking for a system like you have for carrying bikes attached to the van. What brand is from, can you share a link? Thanks man!

    How is the bed suspended on the left site, since there are only actuators visible on the right side? Very nice setup, thoug.

    Nice van, very cool. Is that eBike a Canyon Spectral? I have a Spectral on CF8. I would need something to remember to not lower the bed with bikes in place so you won't wanna break something? Finally, slight cringe at your pronunciation of "Yakima" 😅 but really nice job on the van!

    • @luca_cometti
      @luca_cometti  Год назад +1

      Luckily it lowers nice and slow and even if it’s hits the bars a little bit it just compresses the suspension. Maybe I’ve been saying it wrong this whole time🫣

    Cool you don't have to take front wheel off for bikes... Built the bed up high enough.

    Have you had issue with the length of the van? What's the gas-mileage?

    • @luca_cometti
      @luca_cometti  Год назад

      Sometimes it's a bit tight to park, but with the driving I do, and where I live, its usually not to bad as a daily driver. On the freeway I average around 20 or so

    I’ve seen a lot of builds but that’s the perfect layout for my needs. Want to convert my Sprinter? Or sell
    me yours! 😊

      Thanks! It was hard to find an inspiration for this build, so hopefully a video like this will help get some ideas going for people. I am going to hold onto it for now, but hopefully sell it in the next year or so to still try and make a bit of a profit on it!
