Hi Mike! I love your tutorials on Keyshot. But I kinda missed that part where you mixed the Rubber material and the Pebble texture. Can you go through it again step by step?
Great! Thanks Mike! :) I was just re-learning Maya and I came across Keyshot through your videos. Expensive, but definitely worth it. Keep these videos up :) More power.
brilian tutorial.. i have done this effect but i am havign trouble rendering out the image. It is coming out flat and the emisssive light doesnt look bold and prominent can someone please help.
Sorry for the random question on an old video but, concerning rendering, will a dated and/or suboptimal gpu simply require more time to export a fully rendered image? Or are there some tasks that are just too much of a burden for, perhaps, non-pro hardware? And I don't mean trying to get 4K out of a 720p card, or anything silly like that..
It is a combination as most renders are CPU based with support from the GPU. So lots of RAM helps but the render could complete slow or just freeze, depending on render
Ídolo, genio, máquina, meeeaaamooorrrr. Espectacular tu tutorial!

+PCXTV Hi there, thanks. I explained how to do that between 1:22 and 2:11 What did you not get ?
Did the Mold-tech Pebble replace the Rubber material, or were you able to assign the Pebble for the bump and retain the Rubber?
+PCXTV The pebble effect was applied on top of the rubber as a bump

Hello. How did you add light which is under the wheel?
Emmissive material
What about in Maya with mental ray? I do not have keyshot!
+Anis Shrestha Then you can use this technique ruclips.net/video/kB5UtjBCzPU/видео.html
how can i use and apply my own emissive map?
In Keyshot ?
@@MHTutorials3D yep :) is it through labels?
@@EmilyMeganX Yes, you need to connect through the node editor ( in the Pro version )
Hi, how did you do this? when i try and use emissive map from SP it workes but makes everything else black
dont worry i found out what I was doing wrong, you have to connect the emissive map to both alpha and colour on the emissive node.
tks a lot!!
Thanks
MIke, a question, to get it, do I need to create color map in maya?
