With a fully charged battery the 17.3kw battery delivers 26 all electric miles - so you can compare with other PHEV vehicles this Jeep will complete 100 miles requiring 58kw and with 33.7 kw of energy (1 US gall eqiv = 33.7 Kw) it will drive 56 miles or 56 MPGe) additionally with the eSave mode in ‘Battery Charge’ mode as opposed to ‘Battery Save’ the vehicle will deliver a further 25 miles of all electric range in approx 103/107 miles through ICE regen. Cheers
As always… very dependent on external temperatures and conditions - that said total range with 19 gall tank is 470 - 25 from the initial electric mileage then select ‘Hybrid’ mode makes it essentially 495 total = 27 to gallon,
it does vary on how you drive it for sure - obviously as i mentioned in the video it does 25 miles on a full charge . that said if you drive in the Hybrid mode even having exhausted your 25 mile range you still have approximately 8-10% battery performance as it doesnt use all 100% which provides partial electro/mechanical propulsion so in this mode i have seen the total range of the 19.1 gall tank exceed 630 miles as opposed to the posted 570 miles (inc 25 miles electric)
Why didn’t Jeep supply an adapter plug with the Car. Most of the charging stations on the road are Tesla. That’s a different plug. For all that money for the car they should have supplied the adapter plug.
i'm not sure why you would waste your time or $ at a Tesla charge station. I can understand maximizing your charging at home but not paying at a charge station.
The Tesla charge output amperage is significantly higher than the smaller battery of the Jeep and therefore There is no adaption for/from this input plig configuration
sorry about that - the video was originally intended for an internal video for training Jeep employees who already knew the orientation of the controls
@@dolphin1721 Appreciate that you shared with us. I just rented this beast for a week to go very long distance, and this was a great rundown of what's going on here. Cheers.
What is the gasoline range/mpg when driving in purely hybrid mode? Thanks!

Talking about when I’m out in the wild not home. C’mon reading is fundamental.
You realize that fast charging will reduce your battery life.

great video but -1 for verticle orientation
