We had incredible weather luck. Too the point we were wishing for cooler weather throughout the journey. The sun being out in Glacier Bay made the experience so different from last year when we were there in rain and fog.
What stunning scenery. Our Queen Elizabeth cruise this December will be just one week from Sydney to Tasmania and back. The ship is beautiful when it's decorated for Christmas. I'm looking forward to it very much. Your videos are so enjoyable.
Big day in Glacier Bay. Sadly the good weather equates disaster for glaciers. An elderly woman cried next to me on the deck, noting how the glacier had receded since the 1970s. She left the deck as she couldn’t handle it.
Great vlog guys, not sure how you had sooo much food !!!!, my late mum would have said” you must have hollow legs” !!!!!. Glacier bay was awesome, looks like New Zealand. We are travelling on the Queen Elizabeth in December, 7 nights from Sydney to Tasmania, really looking forward to it.
I swear by the time you post your final Alaska video i’ll be booked going on one myself. It looks picturesque there, I thought the mountains looked just lovely.
OMG what a beautiful day you had! The scenery is stunning, and loved the music you chose. We are doing Koningsdam next July, and it includes Glacier Bay, so excited. Another nod to Newfoundland-Growlers, aka Burgy Bits. Loved all the dining and music you showcased. Jill drank tea-Wow! Noticed the pinky out, and the Paulie call out. We thought Alaska was one and done after our first trip there….Now after this Cunard cruise we are very open to doing it again. We were extremely fortunate to have 9 days of fabulous weather so that really makes a difference in the experience.🐳🛳
It is part of the “Journey to the Secret” game that we play. Each vlog has one letter hidden. At the end of the cruise you make a word with it. The winner of the contest wins a piece of level8 luggage.
No phones were used and we hate people that do that as well. Cunard was aware of our filming onboard and we do so in the least obtrusive manner possible. So no glaring lights, tiny unobtrusive cameras and no interruptions to the audience.
