Jacked up headlights drive me nuts too. I can't count how many I've had to polish out. I can't stress how important a UV protection is for them.

you can usually get new headlight housings for about $35 if your not interested in dong this kinda work

It'll take just as long to install new housings as it would to restore the old ones, and probably the same amount of effort ...
