They fill the venue with so much energy. Seeing Sabaton perform live should be any metal fans dream. I leave every concert of theirs so hyped and wanting more. They're the best. Period.

But my legs weren’t the one body part that hurted the very next day. It was my right arm (I was fisting the air too much) and my head because the lights were too intense (my eyes are sensitive).

My very first live SABATON Event, and i was the luckiest guy there! Why I am the biggest Fan ever? I was German Soldier for long time, with missions in Bosnia, Kosovo, Mali and Afghanistan. In Masar al Sharif i heard one evening before CQB (Close Quarter Battle) „The Lion from the North“, My heart beats faster, all my comrades and me got a fully spiritual power. So we have done our job, and it was pretty fine! No one had died in this night, but we caught some horrorful people. I got a shot in my right shoulder, hit my lung from behind. In the copter, in MEDEVAC Situation, i heard SABATON Music in the Background, comrade played for us. I was happy, powerful and i survived. From this day, i swear i meet this extraordinary band. And with SABATON Concert in Oberhausen, i get a part of this swear. When i saw you first time on stage, i am honest, some tears in my eyes made my looking cloudy. Thanks so lot for your music, and therefor, that you all are, who you are!
Their live performances just blow the studio recordings out of the water. Seeing them live was an absolutely insane experience. Especially since it was at a venue that only contains about a little over a thousand people.

This song immediately makes me think of Star Wars: The Clone Wars, and how it was just recently brought to an amazing close. Especially with the line "These are the lies that we've been sold." Palpatine was playing both sides like a mastermind, and no one realized till it was too late. Makes for a great story with a tragic ending for the ages.
I think it’s pretty funny how his voice goes from kind of rough to very deep in the very beginning at “nameless marks his grave.” And you can kind of tell he’s right at the bottom of his range. Great singing Joakim!
