should I master the song with all those plugins in the mix bus？
Working in to some plugins can be beneficial so you can get a feel for how your mix is reacting to the bud chain, like your limiter and compression
Nice! so do you add all of these plugins FIRST and then mix your song INTO them ? is what im understanding
Good question! I do mostly start with GP on and then the rest get added and tweak more towards the final stages.
everytime i use the ssl compressor mine never sounds good like that. is my mix shit or something? lol!
It might help trying to mix into and it’s important to be light with the compressor and use a slow attack
@@mixedbyjocelin yeah i do slowest attack and fastest release or auto and max 4dbs comp and use the mix knob. but it never really sounds clean like how everyones is. i'll try mixing into it next time, thank you!
