Great video. Gotta love long Trail and Vermont.
Just as beautiful, gotta get over and tackle the Adirondacks. Endless ruggedness, beauty, challenge.

Nasty weather does create challenges for the trail crews. Green Mountain Club trail maintenance is exceptional - all my respect and appreciation.

Stark's Nest is definitely one of the coolest places I've ever stayed at. Such a nice place to spend the night after a tough day of hiking. Great vid!

Great hiking, and some great views so far from some of the peaks, especially Camel's Hump!
By the way...This look slike a very tough trail, with tons of roots, and rocks, and elevation climbing, and which seemingly does not receive a lot of maintenance!
Love Ben and Jerry's, been there a couple of times!
You spoke briefly about your backpack, but as as someone not that familiar with Zpacks; it would be nice to see in more detail just what other gear you used, not just the backpack, how you packed, and how much weight you were carrying, how much food, water, and how you filtered water, etc.
    Thanks!

It is definitely a tough trail. The Green Mountain Club does a great job of maintaining the trail, we just happen to be hiking it at the very beginning of the season. Check out Will Wood's RUclips for more info on what he was carrying on this hike, he provides a full list in the description of the Long Trail video. Let us know if you have any additional questions.

What kind of Water filter do you use on your thru hikes? Amazing video, I’m enjoying these a lot and it’s inspiring me to give a thru hike a go!

we are currently using the BeFree filter but Sawyer is always a good choice as well.
