+Arisun Marmite nasty? No!!! It is heaven in a jar. Iconic British brand, the packaging hasn't changed in years and it is delicious on toast or crumpets.
ok now thats two things i can do with marmite, the other being in a vegetarian french onion soup base. i bet i can convince my kids to eat these before telling them they have marmite in them. they are still afraid of it. ;) i will definitely try this ASAP in a different few ways, how about salsa and cheddar, or pizza sauce and mozzarella.... pesto and goats cheese! And as an aside -- this wensleydale cheese is amazing, and halloumi... i'm having so much fun with the cheeses! the only thing is, cheddar here doesn't melt the same way as american cheddar... it becomes wetter than US cheese does, and it makes some things like mexican dishes a bit different. i'm having to relearn dishes. its fun!
+Jennifer Mann-Hunter Wensleydale is great eaten with fruit cake - or as is traditional an Eccles cake - and don't you have halloumi in the States? It is a staple in our house. Great dry-fried and then drizzled with chilli oil or baked in the oven with chopped red peppers, sweet pots and normal pots - delicious. xxx
Crumbs Food i found halloumi once at a whole foods and it was $10 for a small block. very expensive and rare. thanks for the tips, i'll be using them! Going to Camden on Saturday to celebrate my 40th, is there any must-have food i should try, besides nitro ice cream?
Made these today.. Awesome, thanks for a clear demonstration 👍🏼
Love it ladies! Unbeatable flavour combo. I have a gougere recipe based on the same. Totally addictive. 😍
