This is my favorite time of year for trout! Thanks for all the info!! Those Paul Browns can be deadly in the later part of spring, especially in heavy boat traffic where you need to slow down the retrieve. You know the fish are there, you just need to entice them to bite and that bait works really well when you learn to fish it!
Just got an opportunity to fish in st simons island GA. Didnt really know what lures to use as I have never fished the waters I was in. Got a feeling to use just a good okd fashioned bubblegum pink trick worm. And out of all the different fish people were catching, the sea trout LOVED that bubblegum pink worm. And they hit it HARD everytime. Excited to go back and try some new options as now I have a new breed of fish to chase. I was surprised at how good some of them fight. Even the smaller ones would to their best to give you a run for your money. Awesome experience
@@Saltstrong I have a ton that i got from Mr Paul himself. At his house chop. I don't even want to use em. Since the ones i use now are almost the same. But not quite. I treasure em.
It’d be helpful if you would display the lure in your hand without all of the hand movement. It’s difficult to see the lure itself, and that was the whole point of the video wasn’t it?
Great question Ed! We have found that a Med/Fast is a great all-around rod for inshore fishing. You can change it up when you start getting into more technical applications of each bait and lure, but it isn't absolutely necessary.

Pink has been the ticket lately. We've been using our FRED paddletail and the Power Prawn in FRED color and getting some awesome catches!
That fish was going nuts
For sure!
I have caught some gators with the slam shady. Thanks, Wyatt!

Hey Wyatt, love your guys videos! stupid question...how to determine the sex of a sea trout? i would rather not bring home a "spawning" female
Same video every season....We get it. When are you making the paddle tail in Alabama Leprechaun?
The gold digger bomber is now available. Check that out
Definitely check out the Gold Digger Bomber! 🔥🔥
Great video Wyatt 🔥! Are you using the same rod ( power / action ) for all of these baits?
