Ohh the outfit with the plum satin silk skirt and the structured black blazer was wonderful! I also liked the first one, with the belt on top of the coat. I really like this series, as well as the explanation of the aesthetic styles. It’s informative, well structured, well paced, and has concise and clear reference points, key words and examples. 👌🏽
Great video. Key for Dior was indeed geometry. That means: invest in a blazer that really fits you well. Your first look was nice but the length of your blazer shortened your complete silhouette. It gave you one rectangular short shape. Hiplength blazer, no wide belts and you have the illusion of an hourglass. Hemline of the top not over your wrist.
Bravo , I really love all your presentations, and explications. you have personality and elegance . I dont know if you have one with Chanel style (I will pick a look lol) I love Dior style but I adore Chanel .
Hi darling! Thank you so much, I'm glad you're enjoying my content. I actually did this same series for Chanel too (btw Chanel and Dior are my personal favorites too): ruclips.net/video/vtbDBbLv934/видео.html Thank you, have an awesome day! 🤍
Hi Silvina, this was a really great breakdown of the iconic Christian Dior. Very well put and didn't overwhelm me with the info. I'm watching this before my interview with Dior. You earned my link and follow!
Love all these looks, and especially love that mysterious and alluring Dior aesthetic. I hear that corsets are very in right now, and I've been considering investing in one. After this video i think I might go for it, seems like a very Dior move.
Silvina, loving this series and its focus on history. Not many fashion channels on RUclips bother to look at fashion history which I think is essential when you're trying to build your own aesthetic. As shown by your outfits at the end of the video the fun part of fashion, at least in my experience, is creating looks with the knowledge that you've acquired. I hope your channel continues to grow, I'm quite new to fashion RUclips but some content creators are getting by doing the bare minimum, people deserve better! The first and final outfit were my favourites. Just a question in regards to Dior specifically, which era was your favourite and why? Greetings from Australia.
Thank you so much, I definitely enjoy adding a little bit of history into the videos I make whether they're about fashion houses or different styles, I think it helps us understand what we're talking about. In terms of my favorite era, I just love Christian Dior's Dior because it was just magical, and the designs were incredibly beautiful. I love Marc Bohan's era too, what about you? Thank you!
Lovely video. I enjoyed the Dior inspired ensembles. Just found your channel so not sure if you've done them but would love to see Dolce & Gabbana, Prada and Balenciaga : ) I've subscribed : ) Will check out your other videos. Thank you!
Hi darling! I’m glad you enjoyed it, I haven’t done those brands you name but I definitely already have them on the list. Just so you know some of the brands I’ve already covered are Chanel, YSL, Ralph Lauren, and Gucci, you can find those videos on my channel. Thank you! 🤍
@@SilvinaGaiero A good ideia also would be analysis the ambassadors of each brand to see what the brand wants to be seen for other as representant. ☆ Exame: Mark Lee is a ambassador for a Ralph polo, he is a canadian-asian rapper how looks really good in confy outifts, laid back, playful textures, also he has a cute and swag face and his face really fits the brand perfect, the " livestyle ralph" other also from the same brand is Krystal Jung, a actress, how is emboded the old money concept. She has this rbb face, but very magical at same time, very timeless and has a perfect body, she looks like she was from old era, very classic, elegant and sensual in a way without losing sofhisticated and also minimalist of the brand. (Just Google them in Google first with their name and other with the brand and you see the other "version" of these two, is really interesting and really amazing and smart in how these brand choose their embassadors)
Hi I recently came across your videos and I must say they are informative and fun to watch. Can you please tell how tall are you? Just to get an idea of proportionality.
Hi! I have to be completely honest, I made the skirt myself but I just can't remember what fabric it is, it's relatively thick but it's soft to the touch and has a satin finish. I'm sorry! 🥺
Tarot? Mysticism? Wow that's fascinating! John galliano really screwed up but he was a genius and a visionary. Love the outfit choices! You really did a great job on this video thanks :)
Yes! I agree with you I think John Galliano is an artist and super creative but I don't think his vision was the best thing for Dior though. John Galliano's Dior is personally my least favorite era but I do acknowledge his talent! Thank you! 🤍
