Ralph Lauren is my favorite brand. I own so many pieces. Its classic, modest and very affordable compared to other luxury brands especially when we factor in the types of fabric. I wish the Western or Rugby line was still abundant because I've found myself being more drawn to it as I age. I've been to the flagstaff store in Chicago and it's beautiful!
The only person I get in terms of style and simplicity on youtube is you. I have literally recreated so many outfits from your suggestions and they worked amazing.
RL Purple Label is my go to next to Brunello Cucinelli casual look. Common relations with neutral and carry-forward quiet lux - without any labels shown. That is why I like Purple Label, there aren’t any labels, not even the polo horse.
Just curious, do you ever get judged as superficial for choosing fashion as a hobby? Because I literally do all the time. I think fashion has this stigma, but my reasons for loving it include: it’s a form of art and self expression, it has a fascinating history, impacts the daily life of every single person on the planet, is a form of cultural identity, and a form of communication. Besides it has the ability to make you feel good about yourself and it’s fun to change your style based on your mood. These are not superficial reasons nor is getting dressed in the morning a superficial task, rather it’s essential.
Hi! Thankfully no, no one ever judged me for liking Fashion. I'm sorry you had to go throught that. Fashion is awesome, keep being you and liking what you like!
I love your video, it was very informative and I like that you showed how you would style some of the pieces. Also, could you do a video on Maison Alaïa? Azzedine Alaïa was such an iconic designer and his craftsmanship is unmatched. ❤
I would have guessed authority! The polka dot dress looks great on you. When you were talking in the beginning your voice is going up at the end of every sentence kind of making it sound like a question you might want to listen to it again? Chanel is growing congratulations!
Terrific description of the RL style. I amfamily ranch amd in the city, my fsmily owned a sugar refinery still in business.. I'm native Texan. My mother lived her later years in Surrey England and rode English style...I learned on her Surrey"farm" a thachted roofed listed home...she raised polled herefords. She was close to London by train in the countryside. Riding is still a huge pasttime. One of the RL lifestyles he emulates...English country gentry. Your over the knee riding boot outfit was the most appealing to me. It hit the perfect note. I love mixing English country and western styles as RL does so often. I went to school in Massachusetts sailed the Cape etc and my son lives on the south shore in Dedham. In early retirement I sailed the Caribbean for 7 years. So RL covers all the strains of lifestyle in my personal past and makes up 75% of my wardrobe. Many are vintage pieces. I often mix British and southwestern eg denim, cowboy boots or riding boots. I love now in Central America...near Antigua, Guatemala ,a historic Spanish 16th century UNESCO heritage site small town. Though the upper class here is mostly a mix of Spanish, German and indigenous coffee finca families (plantation)...several Americans have intermarried and are my closest friends. Even the finca owner Guatemalan females wear BRITISH style blazers etc...surprised me at first. I could see Arengintinian estancia owners dressing RL, but coffee growers? Well yes, the style is international. And wealth here esp. property IS inherited.

I love Ralph Lauren, l have picked up a few pieces at thrift shops for very reasonable prices.
That's so awesome, I envy you!
@@SilvinaGaiero Unfortunately, l could never buy expensive clothes at full price, so thrift shops are great for me as they suit my small budget .
And that's totally okay! You definitely don't need to spend a lot of money to look stylish!

brands come and go, with pieces ranging from $100 to $10,000 BUT Ralph Lauren is not a "trendy" brand, RL is timeless
