For an aspiring illustrator and character designer like me, videos like these are super helpful. In-depth, informative, and straight to the point, and we can really feel how passionate you are about the topic!
The words that you chose to describe Chanel's style - every word is chosen perfectly. The music at the end of the video evokes a fashion mood :) You are a girl with this type of beauty, for which the Chanel style was created. I like the outfits you showed at the end of the video. Looking at you, I think of Blair from Gossip Girl - just as pretty, sophisticated and stylish. Thank you for such a great video.
Love your video! SO glad you started with Chanel. I don't know much about these bands, but I had a feeling Chanel would fit my style best. Would be very interested to learn more about Versace too!
Love your CHANEL inspire pieces, as well as Ralph Lauren has those modest conservative and elegant, as well a polish styled. Justo hace me those details to renewed My closet with old pieces and add accesories to make a diferent style. Love wearing designed drockings to styled them diferently with brouches and ribons as a styling add! Love it
Dear Silvina, I LOVE this video! Wonderful overview; I learned a lot about Karl L. You expanded my Fashion IQ. I also love your outfits. My signature accessory is a long strains of pearls which I sometimes tight in a note. Bravissima again! Silvia
I think it’s fascinating that most of the examples shows a more waist-friendly version of Chanel’s silhouette, which is exactly the detail that makes me prefer Dior over Chanel. Your excellent examples aside, Chanel’s silhouette often has a sort of boxy, dropped waist (all the way down to the hips), that is incredibly unflattering for a short, busty yet pear shaped person like me, who needs to have either A-Line or hourglass silhouettes in order to look remotely proportional lol. Obviously I still really resonate with the sophistication and free femininity core values, especially now that a more modern androgyny is re-interpreting the originals. For my body shape, that silhouette is just wishful thinking, but I absolutely do think that the more squared off shape lends itself really well to androgyny. But yeah, practically quite uncomfortable for my physical reality 😅
2:30 this is actually a myth/lie! I think she and her people were good liars hahahaha… not surprising, i am surprised how this myth is still myting tho lol, love the style of Chanel tho! Don’t like her as a person or her lies and myths… u can look it up actually youtuber called nicole rudolph
