RL has always been inclusive. The commentary is just forced now by global powers. Sickening. They should just let the brands speak for themselves so the public knows the true nature, not the act.
Ralph is classic. Have been buying his stuff for 35 years & can still wear the early outfits today. They’re so wearable, unlike Paris designers who seek drama & excess and can be dated easily.
Delightful event, congrats Maestro Ralph, bravo bravo bravo. I was watching gardening tutorials, Mother Nature for First Is the biggest artist above all. Sports inspirations bring always luck. I go crazy for the accessories, belts, hats, boots, bags..when they get flowers or leafs decorations they become like sports gadgets ...a must have. Let's be honest: Ralph Lipshitz was born in the Bronx and dreamed about being part of WASP America. But, being Jewish, he was excluded. He spent his life with his nose pressed against the glass, peering into a world to which he could never belong. So, he created his own world. It's his fantasy. And we are all living in it. The faux has become the real. His aesthetic has pushed out the real WASP suppliers. Brooks Brothers is gone - in effect - but its imitation lives on. It's glamorous. It's beautiful. It's seductive. But it's as ersatz as Disneyland.
The delusions in these H'wood actors statements are hilarious! The Hamptons (and affording to shop at RL for that matter) is for the 1%, it is not at all inclusive. That's OK and God bless those who can. It's fun for us to take a peek in and aspire.
Loved it you guys!!!! Thankyou for sharing- I hope and pray this can inspire our beautiful country, and we can come together as a great nation…. Ps. Didn’t everyone love the weird soft songs and waspy music??! So perfect! Lol
The clothes are lovely but having actors vouch for the clothes in this inauthentic way sort of makes it appear as a cheap marketing tactic instead of genuinely capturing the allure of the Hamptons. Ralph Lauren needs to create a more compelling storyline to sell his clothes because these interviews with actors appear amateurish and unlikable.
@@PtolemyXVIIum, no. This was a show that highlighted his best silhouettes over the years that were updated and creativity thrown together. RL is getting pretty old. This was VERY RL, if you understand the history of RL.
@@BBStyles777 the clothes are classic, but the use of actors to vouch for the clothes do not align with the vibe of the brand. I prefer the way holland cooper uses events to showcase their clothes. Having a bunch of actors gush about the clothes in interviews appear like a lazy way to market a classic brand
I wish people would STOP using the word "classy". I believe if you use that word, it denotes you have no class. I am aware it has burrowed into our daily vernacular. But, gosh darn it, when I hear it, it hurts my soul. Other than that, great content. Let us start a campaign to stop the usage!!! This is a call to arms!! LOL
Nowhere more inclusive than the Hamptons 😂😂😂
😅
Inclusivity is the name of the game in the Hamptons.

Jude law “models of all shapes & sizes” lol not

Ralph Lauren embodies American Old Money aesthetics.

No idea he wasn’t a WASP! Explains a lot.

@RestNRecreation If RL didn’t also sell on the secondary counterfeit market, I’m not sure they would ever churn a profit
Well darlin this isn't a documentary. Marketing is kind of the point
