The kitchen scene with kendalll is possibly the most crushing scene of the whole show
Fr! One of those scenes where you wish Kendall mentioned it to his mom
His mom is a far worse monster than his dad.
@@BavinckGuy they way she fucked them over in the end made me so mad!! Like I haven’t seen a mother character I disliked that much since Betty Draper on Mad Men.
@@BavinckGuy not even close tf
@@fashionablyrude4339 the mom isnt even present in this scene
“I’m here to say…yo” still gets me
I can't get over the scene where Kendall and Shiv hug and Shiv realizes in the moment that he's hurting and really needs it. The emotion felt so honest that it's forever etched in my memory as one of the greatest onscreen performances I've seen.
You mean the episode in season 2 where an ATN employee commits suicide and they all think it's a terrorist attack?
I rewatched that scene over when I first saw it. The way he says “It ain’t gonna be me”... Oh, man. Definitely etched in my memory, too.
which one pls
I think it’s one of the last scenes of season 2, episode 4.
kieran talking about too much birthday and roman's character choices is FASCINATING to me. they're so linked it's really great
The scene where he's walking down the street on the phone to his father saying "I'm the only child you need". One of my favourites.
And then he trips Kendall and laughs at him. That was a rough scene.
@@freedomm episode number?
@@kaseyflores775 S3E7. "Too Much Birthday".
The way Jeremy Strong hardly separates himself from the character of Kendall surprises me everytime. He always says "my" and never "Kendall's"
I love how Kieran keeps referring to Sarah as 'Snook' -- such a friendly vibe there ☺
Don't they all - Culkin, Strong and Cox - call her Snook? :D
It’s supposed to rhyme with “spook,” and he knows it. He’s trolling her by repeating it wrong
@@PrestigeLearning or its her last name?
@@PrestigeLearninghuh
@@PrestigeLearning it's her surname you dork.
Sarah Snook was incredible when she is talking to Logan, I could literally feel her fear and heartbreak wow such wonderful performances
Jeremy Strong is going to be a monster actor before it's over with...I know method actors get hated on, but when it works, it works...he literally became another person
Jeremy speaking in first person is so 👌
I agree... not all actors do that. And maybe Strong doesn't do it with all the character he plays, I don't know. In any case, it's interesting.
Person favorite - final scene of Season 2, Kendall's press conference. What a season finale! That solidified Succession as my all time favorite show and my thought that Jeremy Strong should win all the awards. Season 4 scenes with Shiv & Tom are killing it also.
Yup
Especially the faint smile on Logan's face
I think in a perverse way Logan respected Kendall for trying to take over. It's in that little smile as he watches the press conference. I know Kendall was messed up, but sort of wanted to see him win and keep Waystar in the family. Mattson was such a jerk.
@JeanBakula
The ending was brutal. I really didn't want to see Mattson win as well. But in the end I think I was kinda hoping for both sides to fail somehow 😂
@@JeanBakula I can't get over how Shiv just decided to give it to Mattson, the guy that screwed her over royally all because she couldn't stomach Kendall having it. It was supposed to be the shocking moment but I thought it was too weak, especially since she was such a strong woman through the whole series.
Kendall’s kitchen scene in season 1 & the time when Logan slapped Roman and Kendall stepped in. Powerful as fuck
ah kieran is my hero for getting the scene where he attacks shiv and kendall at the birthday party in the show. i rewatched ken saying rome isnt a real person and rome pushing him over like 3 times. one of my favorite episodes because when ken hit the ground it literally made my jaw DROP.
Strong speaks like he is indeed Kendall, referring to the latter's scenes as his own.
Final episode of season 1. What a Shakespeare tragedy that was.
EMMY TO SARAH SNOOK NOW
I’m glad keiran advocated for that scene because that was Roman on his highest horse. He was despicable. They were sooo nasty to each other all the time, it was always baffling to me when they made up. And Kendall was absolutely right when he told Roman he wasn’t a real person
Kieran seems so fucking... good. Like, a good man you enjoy working with.
I think what he was saying is that he was being a pain in the ass trying to convince the others to do the scene so it looks like Kieran might actually be tough to work with, kinda stubborn and persistent, but he's just so fucking good
roman’ın cenaze töreninde ağladığı sahne benim favori sahnelerimden, bir de ilk sezonda kendallın yönetim kurulu toplantısına yetişememesi trafikte araçlar arasındaki koşuşturması ve akabinde loganı yine alt edememesi ve kovulması. güzel bölümdü
Jeremy Strong is so incredible at his craft.
while i agree he plays the character really well, the method he takes with his craft is kind of overwrought and unnecessary if you truly are a good actor. especially if it continuously irritates and affects the actors and crew around you.
@@DamienHurts not all method actors are the same... the only guy who used to constantly complain about jeremy used to bother his co-workers himself- jeremy is fine, his co-workers are fine and his performance is espetacullar. the midia's obsession with making him look like a weirdo is exaggerated and rude
@@DamienHurts Totally get your point of view. One’s own choices/methods shouldn’t be the cause of discomfort or poor environments for others.
@DamienHurts that is just not true...people shit on method acting, but it's the shitty method actors that give it a bad reputation...Daniel Day Lewis as anything, Andrew Lincoln as Rick Grimes, Ledger as Joker...when great method actors go method, it can be absolutely incredible
@@stanyeeast3508 the end product can be absolutely amazing, I agree. I’m not talking about the end product. I adore Daniel Day Lewis’ performances as well as Ledger as Joker. I just think, ultimately, that method acting has become overrated, and a way to drum up press for films nowadays. Laurence Olivier said to Dustin Hoffman “have you ever tried just acting?” Most actors just switch on and off and are amazing regardless.
The scene where Tom and Shiv rip into each other out on the balcony at their election part …. Ouch.
That scene is epic.
How does a couple ever come back after a vile fight like that? I was married for 35 yrs. and we never had mean fights like that. Of course, Shiv and Tom were so toxic together.
@@JeanBakula
Marriage is complicated and very occasionally people love each other. People stay together for many reasons and it is mostly nothing to do with love. That is why most marriages end in divorce. It's the way of the world. A loveless society of greed, poverty, trafficking and abuse (85 % of children grow up abused) creates a "kill or be killed" culture. That isn't always actual murder (although 80% of women who are murdered are murdered by their life partner and in the USA a woman is killed every six hours by her life partner) but even if it doesn't end on murder it is a life of abuse and pain for women.
It's also worth noting that over 95% of women have experienced sexual assault and that only 10% of those were committed by strangers.
The reason why Succussion is so successful is that people recognise their own relationships in the Roy family and marriages. Look online and you'll see people discussing that. Sad but true.
Last scene of Season 1. Felt like the ending of a play’s second act. Outstanding performances from both actors. Just ✨chef’s kiss✨
Also agree with the kitchen scene between Kendall and his mother.
And then Kendall leaning his head against the rooftop glass safe guard in Season 2. Absolutely crushing.
This show is so good it has ruined so many other shows for me. The bar is forever raised.
Another series, when I have a physical pain, that it ends. A gem, it was, in every angle.
when he comes back from the car crash and watches people dancing to whitney houston
What a season finale this scene was. Pure art.
Love these insights all around! The process, again as intriguing as the final performance!
More of that! It's very interesting to learn about their process and their approach to their characters.
Great creating!
I believe (by looking at the background) that these interviews were held at the Park Lane Hotel.
The BRILLIANCE of this show OMG
It's the end 😭 now who will create another amazing show.
amazing, all of it.
Sarah is back to Australian accent after the show is over
Well, she is Australian.
OTOH, when's the last time Cate Blanchett did a role in her Australian accent? (I honestly don't know)
Acting is amazing Jeremy Strong Great !!!! one of the best of HBO Culkin wonderful actor of Logan been following him since Long kiss good night.
whole cast SUCCESSION Great !!!!.
Jeremy Strong would make a great Jean Val Jean
Shareholders meeting is the best episode no question
On the Culkin scene that sticks out is his dad hitting him.
Glad these siblings somehow got casted on the same show.
Excellent
If you dropped a billion on Wallace from Scott Pilgrim you would have Roman

kieran nails 💅
jeremy loves all his losings
He bathes in the tragedy...I love it! 😂
lol whats this fake ass succession theme song type beat in the background. it's pretty nice honestly.
What's with Kieran's nails? hehe 💅🏼💅🏼
So not the window scene
Where is Connor?
He got some great scenes in the finale.
Kendall is not an anti-hero...for me he is more of a hero
You totally lost your mind
Insane thing to say out loud
He is a horrible person that tries to convince himself he’s different from the monsters around him. I can empathize with his character but he’s far from a hero
😭
HOW IS SHIV BRITISH???
I feel badly for Sarah because it’s sort of like the actor who played Joffrey and the hate he gets. But I despise Shiv so much and can’t separate the two. Ken will always be my number 1 boy or girl. And I love Stewey for having his back.
Depressing show, good acting tho, mostly
Mostly???
@@claireindigo1200 He's probably a liberal.
You are clueless. Go back to watching Friends.
Jeremy Strong is incredibly offputting
Wtf???
i get that he might seem odd to some people bc they’re not used to someone being their authentic self but off putting??
@@lunam9460
People being real can make other people feel uncomfortable as those people resent the fact that they themselves are fake and so they hate themselves, so when they see Jeremy being true to himself and he is an intelligent, interesting and talented man they are jealous.
The only off-putting part about him is seeing Strong as himself shows you how much he actually transforms into Kendall for this show...he's not Tom Cruise playing a different Tom Cruise in every Tom Cruise movie (except Tropic Thunder)
@@stanyeeast3508
Tom Cruise has nothing to do with it. 🙄
