I like to cut out the aloe jelly, blend it, and strain out the pulp. You can freeze the aloe gel in ice trays and use them when needed (thaw it out, put in an application bottle and use in hair... with out the aloe chunks getting stuck in your hair)... you can also save the pulp and use it for your facials. It applies a lot easier... and save in the fridge. Aloe is the best!

The honey you are referring to is manuka honey. It’s because of the manuka flower nectar, it has Something called DHA, and MGO (methalglyoxal) not sure I spelled it right. The higher content the mgo the higher antibacterial properties. It comes from New Zealand. Not all honey is the same, there is even a rating system for it to be considered therapeutic. I really like using it when I am sick.

Me & These Curls hey I've been using it as a cleanser for 2 weeks and it works wonders, I have a glow to my skin and it exfoliates my skin. idk if it will work like that for everyone but that's my experience 😊 I decided to try it because I stopped using chemicals and soaps on my face

I use it as a cleanser/ hydrator with raw honey and it works fine for me. I live in the desert so I try not to use soaps and cleansers with surfactants unless I really need it - so once a week or so - or if I have worn makeup.

Hi t'keyah! I've actually been using Aloe Vera Gel as my moisturizer (and primer!) for around 4 years now, and it definitely improved my skin health a lot. Like, a whole lot. Less oiliness, less acne - and mine is cystic so that is a big improvement.
However!! it also caused a lot of lightening - this is definitely a thing which happens over several months, not a few weeks - and now my arms vs my face are a different tone, which makes foundation matching a whole other issue. Also, i was OK with my original tone so I didn't really want the lightening effect. And, people keep asking if I bleached or, when I'm wearing a full face, they ask why i used a shade so much lighter than I am (even though it matches to my face & neck, it doesn't match to my body)
So I wanted to ask if you know any other moisturizers I can use that can prevent this while maintaining the effects of Aloe Vera Gel.Cause I love Aloe Vera Gel and its non-greasy feel (I'm oily af) but i really don't want to keep getting lighter and lighter. Let me know. Great video!

Even when its cloudy or even raining outside a good sunscreen will protect you from the exacerbation of your hyperpigmentation it could be one of the reasons that hyperpigmentation can flare up is too much long-term exposure to UVA and UVB lights.
Thank you! Shea butter has a bit of spf. I personally have done my research and tested out several sunscreens/ not wearing any and I've decided that my skin does a lot better when I get that one on one time with the sun lol.

I've been using the plant on my face for about 4 days now, but last night I accidentally got it on my mouth but I didn't taste any bitterness at all, nor did I smell anything. Is the plant dead? Is it time to get a new one? I've been refrigerating it and I did hear it can be stored for up to 10 days, so wus good like why is it not bitter anymore?

You are funny and entertaining while being real and i appreciate that! I am def going to make sure i keep it up with using aloe. I was sold on the first video of using it during the day. i had been sleeping in it but rarely because i'm just not good at keeping up with some things. The evidence was with that blackhead you had that healed because i also deal with them and they are the most annoying things UGH! Do not! Please do not drink a gallon of water a day unless you REALLY need it. You could flood your organs by drinking too much water. (Who knew too much of a good thing could be deadly?!😱) Whatever your body weight is divide that in half and that's the amount of water you should drink. I.E. 200lbs = 100 oz of water. Increase based upon activity like working out etc. Infused water such as water with lemon, cucumber, grapefruit really helps as well!
New subbie. I have the aloe Vera plant and I never thought to use it as an overnight mask. I usually just apply the aloe Vera gel after I cleanse and tone my face. Thanks I’m gonna try this tonight!
