I am a Jew, and a cellist... I have played this piece hundreds of times since I found the transcribed cello and piano version. If another piece of music says "never again" better than this, I have not heard it yet. Williams really carried the sorrow and grief of an entire race... Six million people remembered vividly in one melodic line.

Most rhythmically accurate version on youtube. Saw many good others, soloists are playing their part with great emotions but forget about chemistry with an orchestra. In this version that aspect is almost perfect.

Most rhythmically accurate version on youtube. Saw many good others, soloists are playing their part with great emotions but forget about chemistry with an orchestra. In this version that aspect is almost perfect.

This one musical creation should be played at every Remembrance service for those who died in the Holocaust. Its almost a Religious themed song.
