He preaches at the church I grew up in at least twice a year. He would regularly hold services where our phones were confiscated if we had them out to record anything. He would always guilt the whole crowd into giving large sums of tithes and offerings. I always felt creeped out by him and his whole team of security walking around like celebrities. He would even try to sell these gold coins from Israel and say he was giving everyone a discount on one of a kind ancient treasures
The Thing that made me notice his falsity was when he was describing the rapture of the church, he misinterprets(or purposely does ) The parable of the 10 virgins in matthew as a rapture verse, when that mystery hadn't been revealed to Paul yet. He was preaching that believing Christians that don't live a "good life for christ" would be left behind to endure God's wrath. So Perry Stone believes in salvation loss based on works, which is unbiblical. Really disappointed me, because like you i really thought he was one of the good ones for a long time. Have to be vigilant folks, the snakes are everywhere among us.
That parable is interpreted by many fine bible teachers differently so basically calling him a snake over this is not very Christ like. I can see some truth to his interpretation. I can also see your point. Now a works mentality is unscriptural of which I agree. But there will be many who think they are true Christians but are not. That is my interpretation.

I was at one of his meetings back in 2016 and I'm convinced I encountered an unclean spirit during an alter call of everyone 25? I think and under, bunch of people laid hands on me, trying to get me to speak in tongues, which I couldn't understand a word anyone of them said, and I had a mild shake the entire time, not an extreme manifestation like Toronto 1994, Brownsville 1995-2000, I tried to keep ot under control, but I know now that was a Kundalini spirit, not the Holy Spirit of God.

Unless he repents and comes to a real knowledge of Christ Jesus, then he'll be separated with the goats to an eternal damnation and that is the truth! The Bible says that leaders who are false pastors/prophets WILL be judged more harshly than those who do not hold a leadership position. I am amazed at how many people will the defend blatant, "in your face" sins of their leaders; the Bible says, "by their fruits ye shall know them." I don't hear Perry glorifying God in this video as he pleads with the board to hide his dirt (which, it seems is what they have done!). We don't have to think too long and hard about why God's people no longer want to go to church anymore. My prayer for you and other believers in these end times is that we all stay the course. Mr Stone sexually assaulted many women in his employment. He ruined the marriages and spiritual lives of those women he assaulted. Maybe God told him to sexually assault those women.
