South Dakota and Three Great Campgrounds

After leaving Wyoming, we headed to South Dakota where we stayed in three nice campgrounds: Spearfish Campground, Pactola Reservoir near Rapid City, and Left Tailrace in Fort Thompson.

We loved South Dakota. Wish we had spent more time in Spearfish. We visited Deadwood and it was a cute place to spend an afternoon. That second campground was beautiful. That was a lot of driving around SD but you got to see a lot. Glad you got experience the buffalo herd and all those great animals at Custer.
