  • Hi all, this is the easiest flatbread recipe you're gonna ever make!
    Ingredients (makes 3 flatbreads)
    100 g of flour
    180 g of water
    1 Tbsp of unsalted butter (melted)
    1/2 tbsp of sugar
    1/2 tbsp of salt
    3 garlic cloves
    1/3 cup of cilantro
    ATTENTION: if you want to create the air bubbles while cooking, is important to increase the temperature to high and tap the dough so it can rise! The puff goes away anyways when it cools, but the texture and flavor will be there!
    Please multiply the recipe to your liking following the proportions above.
    Hope you try it out and enjoy a low effort high gain recipe!

    This would make a great "bread of haste",and or communion loaf. You would just have to exchange the butter 🧈 with olive oil and eliminate the sugar and since bitter herbs 🌿 were included in the Passover meal it follows scriptural rules so the cilantro is ok. Thankyou for posting this is very useful.

    Hi. I don’t have a scale. How many cups of flour and of water please

    • @ThePhDcook
      @ThePhDcook  5 месяцев назад +1

      Hi, dear! For your reference, 1 cup is appx. 340 g. Therefore, if you use 1/3 cup of flour and 1/2 cup of water you should be fine! Hope it helps

      @ThePhDcook that's weird, I've never had properly measured flour weigh more than 160g per cup, and a measuring cup holds 210-250ml/g of liquid depending on where you are in the world

    i cannot get the naan to puff up...not sure what i am doing wrong...

    • @ThePhDcook
      @ThePhDcook  6 месяцев назад +1

      Hi, the dough has to be in low medium heat in the beginning but if the naan is not puffing up, you can put in medium heat and maybe even high to get the dough to rise! Try do that! I hope it tasted good for you even though it did not puff. The puff itself goes away after it cools anyways
