Yeah man, for me it was Russian Circles... And from there, I was like; Oh ok, as a hXc kid, that played metal, in a rock n roll band, "Doom" can be cool too! Then I found Pelican, Stoned Jesus, etc. and one I stumbled onto the Stoned Meadow of Doom RUclips channel, it was all she wrote! If you have yet to check out that channel, DEFINITELY DO! 😉🤘
In my old age, I find that Doom Metal/Stoner Rock, for what ever reason, I just can't get away from... As I approach 40 I would say it might be my favorite genre! And that's from coming from a hXc kid, that played metal, in a rock n roll band! 🤘
