Your previous Wasteland Warrior series was a fun adventure. This one hopefully will be another adventure of tension. Here's to the stupid birds continuing to be the bane of our existence.
9:33... running to place LCB... right over a hub cap. He was so lucky. Remember that all hub caps are not landmines. They might all be inert now. Still... scares the hell outta be. Mines traumatized me in earlier versions.

Hey Capp when you were in the Anderson trailer it looked like there was a book on the the floor in front of the bookcase. Playing Wild West mod i learned to look for those single books 😂 Great start to the new series!

If you survive long enough the switch over to stable it might wipe out your save - sometimes it will. Sometimes it hasn't though.
I do remember the Wasteland Warrior antibiotic search. What a pain!

As always Capp00, great video! Looking forward to a brand new Wasteland Warrior series. I do like that you don't have to have a water filter now for the dew collector, and the new player storage boxes are really nice too. Being able to just upgrade the boxes to have more storage space is a great idea. Much better than having to scrap the old storage box and craft a bigger one.
I feel like you might be a masochist where nothing respawns and it's just a wasteland and you can only live once 😂

As for the Mr. Anderson thing - I never watched Beavis and Butthead (they were around when I was in my mid 20's so they weren't my kind of humor) and I don't remember The Matrix movies so I was totally out of THAT one! 😀

I like the bus POI. The workshop serves nicely as that once cleared. Then the garage over to the side for storage or extra forges and stuff like that. Up the ladder for bedroll. Over to the side for a couple dew collectors. And as far as I can tell they spawn very close to a trader. Easy home base. I don't have 1.0 loaded yet, but that's what I was using in the last Alpha.

Interesting that Rekt is always your starter trader in the forest biome but still defaults to him in the wasteland seed

Cool! Looking forward to this. You're up for the challenge! I played a few wasteland only games. I actually realized there would always be a tiny little spot of some other biome somewhere, even if you went with 100% and I left it. The search for a more hospitable area became part of my goal. Good call on loot-spawning off. I always do that. I also did a game where I stayed in the burnt biome before that biome disappeared. I'm glad it's back. Especially if "Bob" is still in the burnt biome. Sorry you got Rekt. I can take small doses of him, but he's a pill.
Finding an OASIS in this wasteland would be cool.
@@capp00 I forgot to mention - when I was generating my worlds for the "100% wasteland" that would have a blip of another biome, I would go to great lengths covering the generation screen with paper and dark fabric so I couldn't see where the other biome blip would end up! In fact, I wouldn't even know if a blip existed, although it seems one always did. Must have been something in the generation software.
Hearing or seeing Andersson actually makes me think of both but saying it almost always makes me say it like Smith from the Matrix😅

Off to a good start. It looks like they removed the 'health-bar' for when you are attacking the enemies, so you don't know how much health they have, but at least you got your first coffee! ☕
That's never been a part of Vanilla. Mod overhauls put it in.

Oh man I feel your pain! I lost my system recently to some knuckleheads in our apartment complex not properly insulating wires and literally causing surges in our apartment to the point that we had sparks coming out of outlets. The complex that owns the apartments, of course, said "Not our problem. Go through your renters' insurance." Bastards.
@@TheDoctor1225 Rarely happens here, but the funny thing is I have an 8 year old monitor with a DVI connection, but the new cards do not have DVI so I had to get a new monitor as well lol.

You need arrows so you should scrap all the birds you kill and turn them into arrows and scrape one chair after the other not a stack so you get the quest
Love many new things in 1.0., but don't love the blah looking zombies - but much enjoying the increased variety within the basic types

Yes, they are biome specific. I had to edit the XML to make sure one showed up at all.

I am playing minecraft while this plays on the second monitor and I know that's not what minecraft zombies sound like but every time a zombie makes a noise in this video I look around like wtf where is it?? It's daytime?? lol
