Been 52 years since my feet first hit SVN soil. Am now 72...but like many...that was "yesterday". I served on a Quad 50 (D-71st IIFFV III CORP) with a "pig" to cover the front. There is nothing like a machine gun to make you shake and almost piss. Remember a few times, after an engagement...I lit my cigarettes off the barrel. Even times when there was a "cook off" and we had to hurry and break the belt (s). Now... I was told by the VA to get a hobby... Well I have a 'few" AR platforms that I build... so I found a hobby. She asked me what I decided...I told her RELOADING...wish I could have had a camera ready to photo her face...I spent 2 1/2 consecutive years in NAM...1969-71. Even volunteered snagged an new MOS and went back in if they would have sent me back... No luck..spent another 3 years between Hawaii and the Washington DC area in a secret facility LOL,...all interesting. "WELCOME HOME" TO ALL MY BROTHERS AND SISTERS
