Story: Shrek gets out of the outhouse one day and accidentally breaks the door while kicking it open. Shrek can do nothing about this as he has no spare outhouse doors and he goes to Shrekway™ to get some onions as he is running low on onions but they unfortunately do not sell outhouse doors. Afterwards he meets his best (and only) friend Donkey and offers him some of the onions he bought, but Donkey does not like onions (he likes cakes, but then again everyone likes cakes) and wants waffles instead. So they go and get some amazing waffles from WaffleShrek™ and get involved in a car accident while leaving which gets them placed on a wanted list. After realizing they are being hunted by the law they run away and go on adventures in order to escape the law and have fun like in the olden days, they see a dragon and run away from it, only to find a guard wanting to question them for the car accident, Shrek and Donkey get the hell out of there. They find Fiona, who was Shrek's extremely clingy girlfriend who wants to be back in a relationship. Shrek refuses her and breaks down the palace, killing the royal family and making them the most wanted criminals in the world. They run away from the police and from Fiona, and get in a space shuttle to escape into space, the only place free of law and Fiona. Unfortunately the person in control of the shuttle did not know how to slow down, and crashed to the moon at top speed. At this moment Shrek remembered that he still had not got his door replaced, so while everyone is distracted by the destruction of the Moon he steals a time machine to go to an alternate timeline where he did not destroy the outhouse door and steal it for himself. His other self was angry that his door was stolen, so Shrek killed him so he could not use the time machine to get the door back. When Shrek travels back to his own timeline he accidentally kills Donkey, he goes into a depression over being responsible for the death of his only friend and attempts to drown himself in the ocean, but he is swallowed by a whale. Inside Fiona was there as well, from an attempt to drown herself because of all the times Shrek rejected her. Shrek's hatred of Fiona is so great that he temporarily regains the will to live and escapes the whale and Fiona. After escaping the whale he heads back to his swamp when he discovers a new movie called Shronkey, this movie is so great that it reinvigorates his will to live and he travels home to his swamp with his new Shronkey merchandise and fixes the door to his outhouse and eats some onions. Shrek notices that the door to his outhouse is worn out and decides to replace it, first destroying the old door. He travels to the Shrekway located in Duloc to pick up some onions, which are essential for his plan to replace the door, and stumbles into Donkey along the way, who he treats to waffles upon request. The duo then takes a shortcut to “Far Far Far Shrek” through the woods and stumble into the castle where Princess Fiona is being kept-and though she is immediately interested in Shrek, he wants nothing to do with her at the time. Shrek and Donkey cause some damage in “Far Far Far Shrek” before hijacking a spaceship, crashing into the moon before falling back to Earth as all part of Shrek’s plan. After a brief encounter with a clingy Fiona, they make it to the not-so-secret location of Shrek’s time machine, and Shrek goes in alone with the onions-since only fuel from onions and an unexpected change in the moon’s position would make the machine work. Shrek succeeds in retrieving the outhouse door from his past/future self as planned, but accidentally knocks Donkey unconscious upon returning to present-time. On his way home, Shrek tries to use another shortcut and swim back but ends up eaten by a whale, who also happened to have eaten Fiona, and Shrek frantically escapes the whale’s stomach through the blowhole. He then notices a popular theme-park, “Shronkey’s 12-D”, and decides to try it out before returning home and finally installing the new(ish) door for his outhouse.
